You must not be a Houston native. Bun B is a huge rapper in the H-Town Hip Hop scene and originally hailed from Port Arthur. He was part of a duo with Pimp C called UGK. Unfortunately Pimp C died shortly after the Free Pimp C movement. He OD'd off lean if I remember correctly.

Very interesting interview, seemed like Bun B and Casspi had a good chemistry together because the interview was a lot of fun.
This year is definitely a good year for Casspi, after having two frustrating years for both Casspi and the Israeli fans of Casspi in Cleveland he finally found his new home, which is Houston, the atmosphere in Houston seems very good for Casspi, seems like he enjoy.

He brings us a lot of pride and I'm also very excited and honoured to hear that a lot of Casspi's teammates are interested in visiting Israel with Casspi, I do remember Jason Thompson from the Kings visited Israel 3-4 years ago.

Only thing that kinda bothered me and I'm sorry to bring this up because it has nothing to do with clutch forum is the pictures of Israel they inserted to this interview.
There are many beautiful pictures of Israel so why would you put a picture of Al-Aqsa mosque and make Israel look like if it was a Muslim state or something......

Dude, you don't have to cater to the unknown. I'm pretty sure he can just google it and/or is joking.

*shrugs* nothing wrong with helping out if he really didn't know. Not like it took a lot of effort answering him TBH.

Love the interview. It's so easy to forget how hard it is for international players having to be away from family for so long, especially when their fam is dealing with difficult things. Not to mention how scary the bombings/war was.

On another note, I love this commercial of Casspi and am so glad he's doing well.

love this commercial also, it shows that with the right talent, some luck, hard work and a gret will power, dream can come true.
just like 12 yers old casspi, made his dream a reality.

    big Pimpin' down in P-A-T
it's just the Jigga Man, Pimp C, and B-U-N-B

he's been guest hosting on Jay Mohr's new radio show, which is the only thing that makes it tolerable (with the Houston angle)

I learned that he is a guest professor at Rice University, a la Questlove at NYU.

    thanks for the link...

I'm not the biggest Bun B fan. I find him hypocritical for rapping about the virtues of drinking purple stuff, or lean, then lecturing at Rice about Christianity and hip hop. Give me a break. But hey, somebody is buying into him and his persona. I'll check out the interview sooner or later. i grew up in the golden triangle area of Beaumont, Port Arthur and Orange, or just outside of it.

Or maybe he simply doesn't listen to garbage rap music.
