Including tonight he has started 8 of our 16 games.

Injury bug hasn't been kind to our guard rotation so far this season.

Let's hope both Lin and Harden are back after turkey day.

I'm beginning to really like this team. First 5-6 games of the season, with the TT lineup, I didn't really enjoy watching the Rockets like I have in years past. Now with Parsons playing better, Lin balling, TJones emerging, Dwight actually looking like a likeable leader...this team is fun!

Man, if TJones turns into a 15/9 type player. WOW. Look out NBA.

Zoinks, Atlanta really showing that Eastern conference pedigree.

Getting stomped without Harden or Lin. =D

He'll run out of words to use when the post-game interview comes. Words such as "sticky."

I like how we've played so far, of course, but without Harden's and Lin's playmaking I am not very comfortable. I hope Parsons and Jones continue to dominate and we can avoid a 4th quarter collapse.

    Thanks.

Three shots for Howard at the half is inexcusable

TJones playing like an all-star against Paul Milsap who is having a tough night so far. It's hard to believe we were calling for Milsap for Asik when we had TJones here all along.

Three shots is fine as long as he gets touches on offense to keep him engaged.

    Agreed.

This was a run and gun offense for so long. Old habits die hard.

Kevin Mchale would have held him back if it wasn't for the addition of Dwight Howard...

Nah, Howard is playing well. He's not overly forcing the post play, he's creating space as teams roll with him, and he's passing out of the post when it's not a good situation.

If Howard plays within the offense, the team will have lots of opportunity to take advantage of the mismatches and defense collapsing on Howard.

One thing I noticed is Asik is passing out of the post really nicely as well.

If they both pick their spots, Atlanta's going to have a really rough time.

Calling this on 2 QTR's of play in a single game?

Yup. The Eastern Conference is really, really top-heavy (Pacers, Heat), but the rest of the conference is basically worthless. Those two teams basically get a free ticket to the ECF and, ironically, I would be willing to put money on either of those teams winning the Championship, despite the fact that the West is so much more competitive and demanding.

I'd still do that trade! I love the way TJones has been playing but I don't think he's going to keep this pace for long.

Offense looks good, and we scored 56, so I really don't care.
