There have been many ridiculous and outrageous trade ideas...and some good ones. Some that I like are... Brent Barry and a 2nd Round Draft Pick For Cuttino Mobley Derek Anderson, Jeff McInnis, and Zach Randolph (and maybe a 2nd Round Draft Pick) For Moochie Norris, Eddie Griffin, and Cuttino Mobley. All the trades for Elton Brand and Lamar Odom and Andre Miller are also great for the Rockets as long as they don't give up Stevie or Yao. But my favorite trade is... This trade would be perfect. And I think New York would accept...just maybe! Catp would be an upgrade at center for them. Griffin would be with Antonio McDyess. They could draft a small forward/power forward with their #1 pick...or a point guard. Rice's cotract would expire...giving thm money. We would get two very good players..old...but very good. Thomas is a solid rebounder and all right defender. Sprewell is still a good shooting guard/small forward. I'd rather have Thomas back up Ming and let MoTay get a chance to prove himself. Otherwise it's a decent deal.

sprewell is not what this team needs. lets check, A. he is a 2 or can play 3. Steves playing the 2 next season from what i understand, and id rather have posey at the 3 or boki than sprewell. besides, rudy t is still recovering from cancer, he aint gonna handle a choking by sprewell very well.

You are very funny. Latrell Sprewell is better than James Posey. And what if Bostjan Nachbar is a bust? What if he sucks? And that choking thing was about ten years ago. It's okay to have a couple guys who smoke mar1juana... And it's okay to have Gary Payton or Sam Cassell. Yeah...they just assault people...only once...and love to yell at their teammates. And criticize owners. Francis...who said he was moving to the 2? That is not 100% positive. Useless is not the right thread. These are just ideas.

Incredible trade. I'd be all over it. One part of the trade that I investigated a little further that's not so good. Both Sprewell's and Kurt Thomas's contract will end in two years which according to realgm counts for 65% of the salary cap. I'm going to guess around 20 million will come of the cap in 2004 for the Rockets if they make this trade. Isn't Kobe going to opt out of his contract in 2004? However, the bad part is that even with the Rockets cutting 20 million from the cap in 2004 they will still be close to capped out. You figure that Francis will be making around 45% next year Mo Taylor 26% Cuttino Mobley 17.9 % Yao Ming 14.1% Moochie 11.5%
A trade with Portland would be much better! They will likely deal Randolph or Patterson in the offseason, after some conflicts in practice. They are most likely to deal Zach since Sheed gives them good minutes at PF.
