Most coaches get fired at the end of the season no matter how bad they are. There's no point of firing him right now.
I am actually feeling sorry for Kubiak, like a wounded animal. Time to do the humane thing and release him. Hopefully at the end of the season, seems right. And please have him take EVERYONE with him, including Wade. Time for a fresh start. We may have more player talent that it appears given the right direction and motivation.
Does anyoneknow if the OP is reliable?.. I hope he didnt make this thread on pure speculation- since we already have alot of this ...
At this point I would not be surprised.... Every week I believe that the Texans ineptness cannot get any worse... and every week it gets worse in ways you would never expect.
Really to just make a point to the fans and players, that this season is not acceptable. Losing to the Jaguars at home- come on.. the Coach has lost his players and they are not playing hard enough.. fire them now (And you can start the search now..
I actually don't want him fired. If wade gets the interim job I can see him trying to win so he had a job next year. I wanna tank! And kubiak is doing a damn good job with the blitzkrieg.
Agreed but that isn't his personality. He is stubborn and believes that he can fix the problem. I am sure that McNair will offer Kubiak an upper management position, but Kubiak will turn it down. You will have to pull the head set out of his dead, cold hand.
Do us all a favor and stick to your 0.25 posts per day. In this thread alone you have used up your posts for the next 3 weeks. Don't post for a while. Thanks. "Total Posts: 80 Posts Per Day: 0.25"

Bob McNair didn't fire Gary Kubiak today. The firing would almost certainly come the evening of the game. I figured sentimental family guy McNair would be loath to fire Kubiak days before Thanksgiving. He might fire him if we lose in Jacksonville. He won't fire him on the heels of a win in JAX, and if Kubiak survives that ax, he's making it through the final game (Dec 29th). So wee hours of the morning Dec 6th or Thursday Jan 2nd are my two most likely chopping block days.
Interesting, my dad texted me around the and time this morning saying the same thing, heard from someone from the texans at Methodist this morning
Someone called into 610 (within the last hour) saying a friend with the Texans said Kubiak would be stepping down at his PC today. Doubtful
Makes the most sense, since they're not doing it this week, to do it if they lose this week and @ Jax. Then, you have a long week to let things settle down and only 3 games left.
