In theory, you would think that Lin would get the ball in his hands more often coming off the bench.

But, in the 5 games as a starter this year, he has 2.1 points and 2.4 assist more than when he comes off the bench. Also, his usage is around the same this year as it was last year. The difference is that his efficiency is just way up.

Having said all this, I don't think it really matters whether he comes off the bench or starts as long as the Rockets are winning. But my personal preference is to see him start.

Lin starting or not ultimately depends on whether the team intends to resign him after the next season.

Wish I saw this one instead of the Sac King game where he single-handily killed the Suns in the 4th quarter after a really good lead too. Woke up the next morning thinking, "wth did he do that?" I never manage to catch a good Dragic game and he was one of my favorite Rockets.

He just needs a few more of these to join Jeremy Lin in the Top 10 PGs in PER (with over 30 mpg)

Dragic will be fine. He was out a few games because of injury. That could actually explain that one bad game I saw. Eric Bledsoe's out a few games too so Dragic will get plenty of time with the ball.

Looks like Lin & Asik will be part of a package to obtain a "impact now player" Gasol comes to mind.

Dwight could never play with Pau. Nothings gonna change. Marc Gasol? Better fit but why give up the better player fir asik? And lin is redundant with Conley there.

What the? Pretty sure MGasol & MConley are the foundational pieces to the Grizzlies future. They would sooner give up ZBo than G+C. And Lin would actually be okay on Grizzlies. They need a 2nd guard to push tempo, run fast breaks, and attack. So far Conley is doing majority of the offensive work and with Gasol gone he'll need even more help. Anyway, watch the Grizzlies game when we play them on Monday and you'll see what I mean by them needing a 2nd scoring guard, running the fast breaks, and how Lin's skill set would fit.

After 16 games into the season with the Rockets at 11-5, Jeremy Lin seems have stablized his PER at 19. Dragic have had a few big games and pushed his PER over 20.<br />

Dragic is playing super well. What's his usage rate for the ball?

Goran is the primary ball handler on a lottery team. These comparisons are meaningless.

It only means something if Lin's is the worst right?

I still believe Dragic is the best player of the 3 but I think Lin has passed Lowry for 2nd.

No, it only means something if it means something.

Also he just fell behind Dragic. Shouldn't I be supporting it?
