I have to say, manny fought well... and Rios was just over matched...Manny actually boxed...and was dancing off the ropes wonderfully...have to commend Rios for taking so many shots to the head and surviving till the 12th... I dont know if a JMM 5 fight would mean anything; A 2nd Timothy Bradley fight could be next...
I've always felt that way about him. I detest him. I realize he is rather knowledgeable about boxing and so I can try to deal with his analysis but on shows like Sportsnation, ugh.
He's biased when talking about boxng. He said that Manny is not the same fighter but offered no reason. And he's nothing good to say about Donaire.
despite a big setback before a fight, he managed to win it. He got a subpoena and govt frozen his assets....
I should've ask nicer. Anyways, what a lopsided fight, looked like Pac was sparring at Wild Card. Is Rios really that bad?
Big PPV boxing is dead if this is the best that they can come up with. I can't think of 1 giant fight I'd like to see right now. There are none.
I know everyone says Rios was tailor made for Pacman, but I think it was more about how his chin would still hold up. Pacman fought smart, outboxed him for 12 rounds. I'm surprised Rios didn't let his hands go more and go for broke like he usually does. I know he said Manny doesn't hit hard but he did a lot of covering up compared to his past fights. Agreed. Other than Pacman vs Floyd, which is still the biggest fight to be made, there is no other fight that would make the world stop and watch.
Looks like he got hurt pretty badly that he cried... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/oxkn_fWQE0Y" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
kellerman is a fan of the sweet science, not brawlers like like Lampley and Merchant funny which style is currently on top of boxing right now... i think kellerman knows what he is a talking about
