It seems like you forgot the New York FC team they are expanding out with, so that leaves pretty much leaves 2 potential spots one possibly being Miami.

No man. Think you've got the numbers mixed up.

    19 teams right now.
    NYFC is #20
    Orlando is #21.

Three open spots for a new franchise and one of those most likely being Miami.

I believe two spots will be available for new franchises after that.

    Ha.

I'm not too optimistic about tomorrow's match.
I think the potential lineup is not bad even w/o Rico C and Bruin but I can just see KC eking out with a win at home.

Good thing the Dynamo don't have another home game. The UH/Cincy game is destroying the field.

UH is constructing a new stadium. It will open next year. For now, UH had to play at different stadium.

How can weaver be such a comically bad finisher when he puts himself in so many great spots

It wasn't a great game for the Dynamo but honestly a lot of people probably didn't have us pegged as making it this far. Here's hoping that next year's squad is even better, Boniek Garcia was a beast tonight but couldn't push the team over the hump.

Ah, ok I had thought that with NYFC and Orlando they were going to be at a even number my mistake.

    Season's over, folks.:(

Don't know what to expect next year but it's going to be interesting what moves they are making in the offseason.

They have to find a forward. Cam Weaver should've been released the moment he stepped off the pitch. That miss in the first is inexcusable at this level. Frankly, I would have pulled him then. He did it against NYRB. Luckily that one didn't hurt. Bruin was terrible this season. We need a guy that can be at the end of Garcia's runs and Davis' crosses...and put them away. If they're really worth what's been stated, they've run out of excuses to spend on a proper DP.

I would have rather seen Cummings start instead of Weaver. I guess Dom felt Weaver would hold the ball up better and be more of a nuisance to KC but we saw how that worked out.

I forgot to mention in my earlier post about KC eking out a win that I thought Dom Dwyer would be a key for KC. I just figured they would bring him off the bench instead of start him. He was due for a clutch performance and unfortunately it was against the Dynamo.

I can't get on Kinnear or our lads too much for this match. KC were basically at full strength and we were playing without our best striker, our best holding mid and one of our best CB's. Playing away from home.

Great job this season to the Dynamo! We'll get KC back for this next year.

What are the chances we get DeRo back? I know he's like 88 years old now.

    What's his contract status?

Wouldn't mind him playing attacking Mid.

They need to add a forward, an attacking mid and a center back in the offseason

I would imagine it's a strong possibility. He's an easy, quick fix

I think they're about due to draft a CB this year. Lots of decent CB's in the draft this year.

I imagine at mid they'd probably stick with Rico and Warren in the center and Giles up top as an attacking mid/second striker. I figured Alex Lopez was also supposed to help in the attacking mid role.

I think Weaver has to be released/decline his option. Same with Cummings or maybe trade Cummings for a draft pick or allocation money. Then go out and find a quality striker from Europe (Since the Dynamo have such a difficult problem scouting and finding quality South American players with the exception of Boniek).

Boswell why have you foresaken me? I think it's time to start finding options there. Maybe make creavalle the new geoff cameron. Above all this team really needs a finisher; Bruin whiffed so many opportunities this year, I swore he was Weaver. Find each other when the counter starts and stop this one man counter attack nonsense. ****ing, we could have played cruz azul this year but we lost to some team from panama. We were 87 minutes away from the mls final but we gave up.

    He's a free agent now.

We have the rights to Sebstien Ibeagha since he is from our academy, we can sign him before the draft. We've been trying to sign him the last couple of years but he and his family were adamant that he finish college first. Now the question is how much money does he expect and does he get any offers from Europe.

Ching is gone after this year and I think Carr's contract ends this year. I don't know if they'll release Weaver, if they do he will probably still count against the cap so we may be stuck with him. Our best hope may be trying to trade him for a draft pick to get cap relief. Getting out from under Cummings contract would also be a huge help but will be tough to do.

I'm not a huge fan of this move. The players that get loaned out will benefit from the extra playing time but the ones left who aren't playing with the first team regularly are going to suffer.
