McHale's stellar last play. NO ONE could have seen something like that happening. I liked how Harden was talking to the ref too as the clock ran out. He has to realize that whistles tend to get swallowed in those situations.
I would like to see Harden taking a better last shot than that. or we try to run some plays instead of iso Harden. I can understand why we run iso Harden, since that way at least you'll get a shot off and if it doesn't work you won't have to answer "WHY THE HELL DIDN'T OUR BEST PLAYER TAKE THE LAST SHOT" , but this is contingent on him you know, hitting those shots .
Maybe Dwight athleticism has stunted his game over the years. Never had to learn how to do that and now it may be too late. Or maybe he doesn't have the hands and feet to do that and his athleticism is more so relegated to jumping ability, strength, etc. Dwight would commit 2-3 travelling violations in that same move.
I also like how Boris held the ball up high above his head and shoulders. Dwight always seems to carry the ball low - and have it stripped.
