Definitely bad defense, but forgivable. He thought Josh Smith took that jumper at the top of the key. He looked confused as to why there was no rebound.
The turnover was caused by JR Smith trying to help out, at least a little. The Pistons player was so startled by JR Smith trying to help out on defense that he suffered a mild heart attack, causing a shuffling of his feet.
But the funny thing is that he turned to the basket in the same direction that the ball went. Surprising that he didn't see the pass in his peripheral vision.
idk at least for me, even if I had made hundreds of millions, but had played basketball my whole life and felt the amazingness that comes with dunking all over fools on a world stage, but then one day I just couldn't. I'd be sad.
he really has to thank steve nash hugely for what he did get to make of his career. who knows if he ever averages 20ppg without nash.
I know.. I'm not saying he became nothing after Nash.. but I'm saying that maybe he wouldn't have developed like that without nash
I mean, he had a pretty good rookie and sophomore year (before Nash came). I think Nash and him were definitely a great pairing that they both benefited from, but I don't know how much Nash contributed to Amar'e's development.
He's used to all the chuckers on his team launching shots in practice, so naturally he thought the shot was going up. But as far as being sad, I doubt it. He's young, recently married, and has enough money to basically do whatever he wants the rest of his life... I think he's probably a pretty happy guy.
