We have dealt with some selfish player only fanbases. We dealt with McGrady only nutjobs who refused to believe he was washed up even at the end, we dealt with Yao fans who hated JVG at first and then hated Adelman more because they felt Yao wasn't getting enough touches and to top it it all, the two idiotic fan bases clashed with eachother over who was the main man.

Now the new LOF's with the combination of ex LOF like the OP, have taken stupidity and sheer selfishness to a whole new extreme level that we have never seen. I dare say only Kobe fans are this obsessed and hatefull as the LOF's which you are one of to. Longtime fans take pride in the Rockets and it's proud history. When you see people who don't give a rats ass about our team and culture come here and bash anyone and everyone for one players gain, it makes them angry.

This is bull, the rockets have talent but they're raw and have a lot of development to go before they're a contender. The guys that do have the potential to improve are improving every game. McHale is doing a great job.

heh ok in hindsight i probably did overreact to an early season loss :) i do understand that where we go this year depends on howard and our defense.
still, i feel like this is an awfully strange situation here and is worth discussing

idk man, i feel like this particular thread was a pretty valid concern for our team possibly in the long-run, even if it's not among the biggest concerns we have.

PG is pretty important and I do want to see the development of both PGs.
Cause we need good PGs, remember last year when Lin got hurt in the playoffs, Bev stepped up.

It's so early, I'm not going to even criticize McHale. It's all new players and we are trying to find an identity.

If lin was playing well he would have got his usual 30 minutes a night. He wasn't so McHale didn't play him all that much. Lin has beenm pretty good so this is a blimp on the radar and against the Wolves I expect him back to his great form.

Wow, after 20 years you're boycotting Rockets home games because of the way you feel the coach is treating Lin "so badly." Yay one more ticket for me to bring another friend with to the games. So were you a season ticket holder too?

The thing is though that the other starters get burn no matter what. If McHale really has two starting PGs why doesn't he treat Lin like a starter?

Kevin McHale is wasting Jeremy Lin's potential. He's just not the right coach for him.

Exactly, Bev was just having a better night, lin struggled with his shot, so he ran with him, nobodies saying anything when Lin closed the last games cause he was playing well, it's a non issue

This is a guy who benched the franchise player in harden. McHale will bench everyone.

They are like oil and water.

IMHO best guard coach in the league is Brett Brown. He did wonders in developing Parker and Ginobili and i think he'll do a good job in developing MCW and the 76er guards over the nect 3 years.

i'd much rather trade coaches than trade players with the 76ers though.

Although I'm not as extreme as the OP, I do think the Mchale made a bad decision by not giving Lin more playing time. He is the most consistent player on the team this season, I think you don't just decide to bench a player like that.

He should have had more time with the starters and not just with the second unit that was missing shots and not giving up the ball when they should. Somebody really needs to jump Casspi's ass about not moving the ball up the court.

Lin's game wasn't great but again if he had more than 11 minutes in the first half it may have been different. It's not like Bev was stopping Ellis anyway. Ellis had 37 points, they weren't all on Bev but a lot of them were.

I randomly think Doc Rivers is a really good pointguard coach. Dude made Rondo into a star, and Chris Paul, the best PG in the league, is actually having a ridiculously good career year while shooting badly (even better than that one year where he got robbed an MVP!).

    Ok,
I want to tell all you newbs this...

the Rockets ARE NOT GETTING A NEW COACH BECAUSE OF LIN.

    evidence:

    1. we were willing to trade the whole team, TWICE for DWIGHT HOWARD
    2. we had a big event where HAKEEM, RALPH SAMPSON, ELVIN HAYES showed up and started a campaign called LEGACY OF BIGS

Did they roll out Calvin Murphy, Cassell, Allen Leavell, Steve Francis for Lin??

    NO.

So if you keep dreaming that this is all about Lin, then Freddy Kreuger with a Mchale Jersey will slap you.

    FACE REALITY NEWBS.

Majority of those points were on Hardens non-exsistent defense. Bev actually the only guy who could keep off the dribble with him.Ellis is one of the quickest players in the league on the dribble penetration.

Asik is probably wondering if rejoining this team was such a good idea. He did not look happy out there but does he have a choice?

Asik can we away his tears with the 100 dollar bills in his pocket. Instead of whinning, he needs to outplay howard and earn his way into the rotation. Trust me that effort last night will win him no friends amongst his teammates.
