Sorry...meaning Houston was up by 8 or 9 points in the fourth when the starters jump in at about 9 minutes or so.

But the Mav's outscored the Rockets?

You are supposed to outscore the opponent. No more JVG philosophy please. It doesn't work.

Asik was so good last year.....still an offensive liability by and large....but played with real HEART by and large. You are supposed to be a PROFESSIONAL....regardless of how you feel, your JOB is to PRODUCE when called upon. The Rockets made a decision to go after Dwight and now this guy wants to be traded and sit on the bench sulking and play "small" when he does go in. I don't see his trade value increasing going forward. He has to go...it's best for ALL concerned.

Just another personal opinion but DMO is by and large a 7 ft. 3 point shooter (not a good one) with little to no post up move. I was so excited when he came aboard but it's not happening. We need another piece going forward.

EVERY single Dirk/Ellis jumper got the friendly roll. It was unbelievable.

He wasn't really looking to drive in or get his jumper either. He was deferring and deferring until it came all the way back to him for the 3 pt. shot.

WHY are people even saying Lin's name he had nothing to do with the loss. Bev is the starter he was 3-9. Lin barely played and when he did he barely touched the ball

Dirk was a pretty tough early assignment for T. Jones. Trial by fire, I guess.

Monta just killed us tonight. He basically went wherever he wanted to go. 37 pts on 18 shots. Geez.

On a brighter note.. Dwight had a good game and showed some life in the post and I'm excited about T Jones solving our power forward problems although he needs to stop jumping on pump fakes.

This plus his shooting down the stretch was atrocious. Someone's gotta call him out on this - he lacks focus and will never be a champion until he learns how to finish.

MaHale sucks, man. I am decent Houston Rockets from China. Can't believe our coach would actually draw up on his white board. And when Houston trailed by 2 after Marion shoot 3, he did not call a time-out. ****!! man. He is the one to blame.

    Yes.

CF is the only Forum I know where it is taboo to have a favorite player.... YOF, TOF, LOF... it's disgusting and pathetic. But I guess it brings in clicks.

Some easy **** down the stretch really cost us.

Dwights ridiculous tech foul, parsons layip at the rim and then Hardens bad FT miss.....

Good signs today though on a back to back away, looked really good. We just need to improve our late game closes (which I think will get better with time + chemistry improving)

Harden must be better in the late game situations, which I also think he will over time, become better.

Terrance jones though! Wow we look better since he has moved to the starter rotation :)

I'm gonna choose to forget everything that happened in this game except for the following:

Dwight Howard was assertive and DOMINANT. He tried really really hard and succeeded.

Again losing this game is not on Lin. I agree he didn't have a great game but his game wasn't horrible, he has to have a chance to play and play with some starters not just the other players that are sucking. Lin took 5 shots, one was a hurry up three to go two for one, and another was the last second of the shot clock. I'm not making excuses for him but it wan't like he was choosing to jack up bad shots.

Lin had 4 assist in 17 minutes, Bev had 3 assist in 37 minutes. Part of the reason we lost is because the ball stopped moving in the second half, if you had a real playmaker in the game maybe things would be different. Bev's man scored 37 points and nobody is saying much about it. If that happened to Lin everybody would be on his ass.

Again Lin didn't have a good game but his 17 minutes of play was nowhere near the top of the list why we lost the game. Also I don't think anybody's individual play is the reason we lost. We lost because the ball stopped moving and because of Mchales coaching.
