Good game guys. Blame Lin, who was giving no good minute by the great coach McHale, and then finally summon him in with 9 SECONDS TO GO.

I seriously think McHale hated him and there is nothing Lin can do to impress McHale.

 

Blown easy layups by Dwight and Parsons, plus Dirk hitting everything with a hand in his face, just says it all. Just wasn't our night.

 

McHale took him pride away by sending him to the bench.

 

we still can't find a way to break Zone defense

 

Because if he misses one shot, then off to the bench he goes. Giving him 5 shot attempts is quite generous already, mchale to Lin that is.

 

Oh boy! Tough loss.

Don't know why Mchale keeps playing harden over 40 mins...actually all starters played too many minutes especially coming from a B2B except for TJones.

I really felt the big mistake done in the rotations is playing the starters too long in the 3rd quarter.

Also it seems the coaching staff really has a short leash on the bench tonight and really killed the bench confidence.

Starters ran out of GAS at the end....hope we have a better showing next game

 

I am not trying to blame Lin or anything but is something wrong with him? He looked slow only shot 3s and overall looked uninterested in the game. I was like, is this Lin or Asik dribbling the ball?

In any case, nice defense letting Mavs back in! Also, nice playcalling McHale!

Our second best scorer in the 4th quarter sat the bench. Misguided Mchale outcoached by Calisle.

I can't sleep. I'm so tired of this ish. I know it's early and it'll even out, but this bad of luck this early is driving me crazy. Our defense wasn't that bad, they hit a crazy amount of contested jumpers. That Dirk flat footed 3 with tjones on him is some bull. And with all that, the guy that stood out the most to me was Asik. If he's gonna suck that bad on O, he better lock the paint DOWN. I'd rather of seen a shoot out with DMo.

 

Parsons had a great game so this might not be the time to say it, but I'd rather he stop focusing on playmaking and scoring and go back to being the good defender he was in his rookie season. Unfortunately that doesn't net you big contracts.

 

Mavs could not miss the last 5 minutes of the game. What can you do when shots are going down even the contested shots. On to the next game. The team has come along way in just two months. They will get better as the season goes along and IF a trade is made they will need to adjust to the player.

defense was terrible but also a bit unlucky. dirk and the mavs got all the bounces late and we didn't get one.

 

6th man isn't bench?

 

Howard was killing it..when he set..Rockets started chucking 3's...
