Exactly. Credit goes to the starters for building the lead, blame goes to the starters for losing it in amazing fashion.

The starters were outscored by 17 points in the fourth and gave up the bulk of the 123 points.

Our pick and roll defense is one of the worst in the NBA. Dirk sets a pick, Monta gets switched on Jones, Patrick Beverley ends up guarding him in the post. Easy score for Dirk.

You do realize that the 6th man is part of the bench. Right?

Don't forget that blown layup by Parsons with a minute left in the game. He had his man beat and just missed it. He did have an overall good game, but you take that and the missed free throw by Harden and there's your difference in the game(well, that and the complete lack of defense).

Lol... most of the bench played around 10mins to 16mins max. Don't blame them for the loss

Indeed. Harden has started many games 0-4, 1-5 and McHale let's him shoot his way out of the slump. Lin goes 0-2, off to the bench for him.

Star players are allowed to play more than 16 minutes to get it going. When Harden plays terrible, he still gets 30+ minutes.

Lin is still on a short leash. One of the best players for the team this year and still can't get any respect. You LOH can say all you want but any other player thats been playing this well would get the benefit of the doubt and be able to play through his bad games. Lin just doesn't get any respect here. He should demand a trade, it'll be better for his career as well as this team.

I am upset about how the team played in the 4th, but the mavs made literally everything; 15-18 on long 2's

Yeah, but it was not just bad shooting, Lin just really wasn't doing very well out there. I like Lin a lot, and he has been awesome so far this season, but I agreed with the decision tonight.

No. He just added up all +/- points for non-starters. It is a "creative" way to blame the bench...
