I wonder if Dream gave this interview after seeing Bargnani basically neutralized Dwight in the post on national television. Seeing that is not something you can forget.

There was a play last night, where Dwight got the ball and IMMEDIATELY went into his move vs. Sullinger and it was highly effective. He's got to do that more.

Howard should start by running down the court and getting under the basket fast, as Chuck and Shaq have pointed out. That alone would help immensely and dovetails with what SVG stated about getting Howard the ball where he doesn't even need to make a dribble.

I know the play. DH's biggest attribute is his quickness and athleticism. That's what makes him such a beast on the defensive end. Why he chooses not translate that to his offense is beyond be. But I think he'll come around.

He can't do that move well enough either, when he drives baseline, but it would help if he didn't go right 99% of the time he squares up for it. Like Dream said, he's got to be able to think in the moment and decide what's going to work then.

So did D12 waste his $ going to Dream Camp a couple of years ago. If you watch it on youtube Dream says the same thing that D12 is not doing. Mainly before D12 even gets fed on the block he already has to know what move he is going to do depending on how the D is playing him as opposed to what we have been watching. D12 thinking about his move when he finally gets fed. D12 needs to do the mental work and commit to a move before he gets fed.
Dream come back soon. All star break might be two late. Another 2 months of D12 bad old habits on the block might be too hard to break.

Add to that he has no jump shot like Dream or Yao. If he face the basket opponent just give him space and let him shoot or help right away because they know he gonna drive to basket. Hope he embrace PNR more

I love this. This is how we talk in my office. Put pride aside and be ready to improve. That's how you succeed.

I disagree with #2. Dwight's footwork is really not that bad. I think its more of him trying to bull his way to the goal when its not necessary. All he needs is a reliable jump hook. I do agree he's very indecisive with the ball at times, and that is because lack of go to move

What happened to that Tim Duncan backboard shot he was working on during preseason ? Looked ok and less risky than the turnover post plays

It might be slightly due to watching too many dream highlights, but Dwight just looks so robotic when he does post moves.

You can see the smoothness in dmos and kind footwork in the paint. Dwight just doesn't have it.
