Trade him, Morey and the coaches have burnt this bridge to the ground, no need to make the young man suffer or waste his time further. We will because it is Morey and he is always focused on the deal rather then the players but it is a shame, his value drops because of silly stunts like the false twin towers and now folk are talking like he is at fault for how badly this situation is being handled. For a guy that played very good for us last season, to throw him into this circus, I hope they get him to a out of conference contender where his defense can be of use... hopefully not Miami since all former Rockets I see there I usually wind up hating.
The TT was put in because Asik didn't want to be a backup. If anything the coaches and Morey were appeasing Asik's ego knowing it was a long shot to work. Even after seeing/knowing how successful the lineup was/would be without the TT, they continued to start Asik ( I still think TT can work. dont judge me). If Asik would have accepted his new role as the backup center there would have been no talk of TT. Guaranteed. The first time Asik was taken out of the starting lineup, he pitched a b**** fit and started loafing. There was nothing that intimated the TT was abandoned; the match up was bad against Philly. Morey even went on the Radio and said he didn't want to trade Asik. Morey NEVER says that. To this point he has called everyone and his mother assets. When Rockets picked up Dwight, how would YOU have handled it knowing Asik didnt want to be a bench player again? In my eyes, the Rockets did everything they could have to make Asik realize he was valuable to this team, even in a backup role if he would just accepted it.
