Just curious to know if there were any Pistons fans here...they're not my favorite team (Rockets are :) ) but they are my favorite Eastern conference team. They seem to be very underrated but they have a nice squad who could win the East. Just wonderin what yall thought.

Well they are not my favorite team but they are very well organized. They have a good coach and a good system with good players...but I'm not sure they can win the East. Orlando beat them... in Detroit. Wait and see. :)

I think they need one of two things to beat Orlando.

    1. Chauncey Billups (sp?) needs to show up.

    2. They need to contain McGrady (sp?).

If they can do either of the two they'll be fine. However number 2 might not be too easy.

Billups had a horrible game, but he won't have many more of those. He was great for Minnesota in the playoffs last year and should do something similar again.

The second key is not McGrady. He is a great player and he'll get his. The second key is Gooden. They need to neutralize him and strand McGrady all alone. Ben Wallace getting a little more healthy and Cliff Robinson adjusting his game a little should do the trick.

They played horribly in the first game and were still very close to beating the Magic. They should be able to put them away.

I have both of their "bad boy" championship videos.

    I loved their toughness.

Plus, they used to beat-up on the Bulls, and Lakers.
