My post was in response to others who are fully convinced if Francis only got more shots he would be better than AI--which was said a lot in this thread.

Francis is a fine, fine, player, even a great player. Just seems too many people have too high opinion of him & too low opinion of other teams stars, or vice versa.

I just hope Francis comes out burning next year to get his team in the playoffs and shows the mettle to match his unbelievable talent.

im sure that steve would love to know how it felt to shoot 8 of 28 in a PLAYOFF game. will he ever know?
i bet marbury still had about 8 assists w/ that 8 of 28. and did he settle for jumpers, like our guys, or was he taking it strong and drawing fouls?

Francis is overated. Its too bad our owner is all style/flash and no substance..because if he wasnt, Francis would be the odd man out and not Mobley and Griffin. oh yeah and we'd still be watching
the Rockets play in red and gold like God wanted.

I wonder if people said Hakeem was all flash when he was Akeem ... then again, I probably don't want to know the answer to that, it would disgust me.

Surround Franchise with good players (like his other starting 4), and let them develop. Preferably for more than the 60 or so games since the Rockets picked up Pose, and the 70 or so games since Yao became a starter.

As for "good" versus "great", I say wait 2 years, and Franchise will be "undoubtably great".
