Old comrade, was just sarcasm. But we really could kept Landry longer.

I think I must of wrote my intial statement wrong as the Messege isn't getting across.

Saying that morey is a Genious is giving him a compliment in my post (I apologise if it seems otherwise) , over the past x amount of years he really hasent acquired that many busts compared to rival GM's..

People that are thinking I'm ripping on morey or the rockets are whatever are just miss interrupting what I meant to say.

Untapped potential since he was drafted. But, he was a late bloomer for sure.

When we traded for him, he sounded motivated to prove the Knicks wrong... but I dont know. He just didnt seem to get what Adelman wanted out of him. Sometimes it takes a perfect situation to get something out of a player. And the slumping no expectation Lakers seem to be what the dr ordered for Jordan.

They were all assets that ultimately lead to H&H.

On topic, Hill was a late bloomer. I think he was "discovered" late in high school. It's not really surprising that he develops late on the pro level.

Morey could know if Jordan Hill told him so.

While Hill was in Houston, I met someone that was friends with him. She knew absolutely nothing about basketball, but apparently she hung out with him sporadically. Apparently he always talked about how his dream was to play for the LA Lakers. That's about the time I started hating him

That would of meant we keep T-Mac longer which would would of sucked, plus we wouldn't of gotten K-Mart which means no Harden, which means no Dwight... I loved Landry but we got rid of him at the right time.

Nice 4-game stretch, but I'd still pass on Jordan Hill.

The pieces were always there you could see the potential if you looked, just took awhile for him to find his NBA game.

Are people really upset at Morey for J-Hill having a good 4 game stretch? So many things have been set in motion since the last time he was a Rocket.

Hill sucked as a Rocket. I wouldn't dwell too much on it.

Be wary of great players on 12th placed teams.

He showed potential. Definitely as a rebounder.

Yeah, I kinda remember some minor hoopla last season when Earl Clark actually played decent as a starter.

I've heard Barkley say it a few times and I agree, if you're over 6'8 and you play more than 30 minutes a game you should easily grab 10 rebounds. I'm not really impressed by a guy who is finally living up to a minimum standard.

It's not just 4 games. Hill has improved quite a bit since his Rockets stint. And I'm glad. He did play hard for us, but there was a distinct lack of BBIQ rather than lack of effort.

That said, he was coming off his rookie contract and Morey was NOT going to extend him. The 1st rounder helped turned into Harden, so no complaints from me there.
