I posted this in the other forum too, but I thought a lot of you might miss it. The new arena website is up and running today at http://www.houstonarena2003.com/ . Enjoy.
Man, far ****in' out! You guys did an amazing job... terrific site! They dug out more dirt than the Astrodome?? Wow.
Can someone bring up that old post with the arena with the buddha statue in front of it with the Mao picture in front. That was cool.Either photo shop it,or bring it up.The dude that made it ,made it BEFORE we won the lottery. I forgot who that was. Good omen I tell you. Whoever made that, rules.
Just a note for you guys... The Flash animations on the front page are actually four different animations that randomize, so if you hit reload (or refresh), you can see all the different one's. Also, the Flash animations at the top of the internal pages are also randomized and there are four of them as well. The animations are themed basketball, concerts, Houston history and hockey/ice skating. Also, if you go to the suite views page, you can see a virtual view from any suite location in the arena.
Nice. I wonder what my chances of being able to get a ticket to the first game there will be. I'd take a day off just to be there... woo hoo. Can't wait for the stadium and next season. Nice job on the site, Jeff and anyone else involved.
"Additionally, more than 10,000 total parking spots are within just a few blocks" you forgot to mention that you have to pay for this parking. For people who are season ticket holders we are getting screwed, for those who go to just about every game 7 bucks per game to park is robbery not to mention the amount of walking. Channel 2 will be all over this when the arena is done. I guess they didn't learn with reliant.
