First off I'm very disapointed in the Rockets team this year. We need some changes, like a new coach and some trades that will improve the team. This is just one trade I came up with, but the Rockets would still need to trade some more players(Griffin, MOochie, Taylor to name a few). Plus to make this work since the Clippers are getting the short hand of the deal, they would need to get draft picks. Any tell me what you think.

Houston trades: SG Cuttino Mobley (17.5 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 2.9 apg in 41.7 minutes)
SF Terence Morris (3.7 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 0.5 apg in 12.9 minutes)
PG Tito Maddox (1.2 ppg, 0.8 rpg, 0.6 apg in 3.9 minutes)
Houston receives: SF Andrei Kirilenko (12.0 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 1.7 apg in 27.7 minutes)
    C Kurt Thomas (14.0 ppg, 7.9 rpg, 2.0 apg in 31.8 minutes)
Change in team outlook: +3.6 ppg, +5.6 rpg, and -0.3 apg.

L.A. Clippers trades: SF Lamar Odom (14.6 ppg, 6.7 rpg, 3.6 apg in 34.3 minutes)
PG Andre Miller (13.6 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 6.7 apg in 36.4 minutes)
L.A. Clippers receives: C John Amaechi (2.0 ppg, 1.5 rpg, 0.4 apg in 50 games)
PF Othella Harrington (7.7 ppg, 6.4 rpg, 0.8 apg in 74 games)
PG Frank Williams (1.3 ppg, 0.9 rpg, 1.6 apg in 21 games)
Change in team outlook: -17.2 ppg, -1.9 rpg, and -7.5 apg.

Utah trades: C John Amaechi (2.0 ppg, 1.5 rpg, 0.4 apg in 9.5 minutes)
SF Andrei Kirilenko (12.0 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 1.7 apg in 27.7 minutes)
Utah receives: SF Terence Morris (3.7 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 0.5 apg in 49 games)
PG Tito Maddox (1.2 ppg, 0.8 rpg, 0.6 apg in 9 games)
PG Andre Miller (13.6 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 6.7 apg in 80 games)
Change in team outlook: +4.5 ppg, +0.6 rpg, and +5.7 apg.

New York trades: PF Othella Harrington (7.7 ppg, 6.4 rpg, 0.8 apg in 25.0 minutes)
PG Frank Williams (1.3 ppg, 0.9 rpg, 1.6 apg in 8.0 minutes)
    C Kurt Thomas (14.0 ppg, 7.9 rpg, 2.0 apg in 31.8 minutes)
New York receives: SG Cuttino Mobley (17.5 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 2.9 apg in 73 games)
SF Lamar Odom (14.6 ppg, 6.7 rpg, 3.6 apg in 49 games)
Change in team outlook: +9.1 ppg, -4.3 rpg, and +2.1 apg

    TRADE ACCEPTED

RealGM's Trade Checker was the worst invention in modern history.

I was just contemplating whether I thought that or not. I am really having a hard time deciding what is worse. A crappy trade proposal that doesn't come anywhere near working under the CBA. Or a crappy trade proposal that somebody spent 2 hours trying to work out using the trade checker.

Well I did that trade in about 5 minutes. It is easy to work trades out, as long as you have a calculator.

I'd say the latter because people use the Trade Checker as validation of their trade proposal, with thoughts such as "Well the salary works out, so of course all GM's involved would jump at this chance, even if its so lopsided for my home team that it isn't even funny! Damn I am a genius. Why haven't I been contacted for a GM position yet?"

So all I had to do is put Brand in that trade and all you people would jump all over it and say this is a great trade? I'm just trowing things out there, this is no more BS than trading Mobley and Griffin for Brand and Miller that seems to be so popular on this BBS.

It was for Brand and Piatowski not for Brand and Miller. The clippers are not that dumb!

The Clippers get raped in this deal, while the Knicks and Rockets run away like rapists.

I personally have no problem with RealGM. It's an instant way to shoot down stupid trades like sending Griffin and Mobley to MINN for Garnett. If it doesn't work capwise, end of conversation.

On the flipside - I like good stereos and playing my car stereo loudly outside of residential areas. When a person drives past my house with a too loud stereo, it's that person being stupid, not the stereo which is at fault.

Whether it's RealGM or car stereos, it's not them but how they are abused which matters most. ;)

The best part of this trade is the Clippers give up Lamar Odom and Andre Miller and Recieve:

    Jon Amechi
    Othella Harrington
    Frank Williams

    WOW.....are you a fool???

I know the Knicks will jump on this one, you might be able to convince Utah, it is borderline for the Rockets. The Clippers have hung up on you and ordered their secretary not to take your calls anymore. Please don't propose trades anymore, if this is representative of what you can come up with. [IMG]
