So Portland will lose their franchise player and take on Nene for $39 million?

There is no way that Bosh is worth Asik, Parsons, and a 1st round pick. I wouldn't do it but I bet Miami would jump on a Asik and Parsons for Bosh.

Knowing Morey he's somehow gonna get either Love/LMA (even though their respective teams are winning) and a lottery pick. He's just that good :cool::cool:

Why would Miami want to help us? If they trade us Bosh, we become a solid top four WC team, maybe top two. It would be as crazy as when Morey wanted to help the Lakers get Chris Paul.

Portland needs to rebuild. We give them a pick and in a couple of years they become a top 5 team.

Problem with the pick is this is such a great draft class a team like Phoenix wouldn't give it up for Asik. If there was a team who needed that one more piece like OKC or Portland and they had a lotto pick available then maybe. I think Chicago has a Bobcats pick but an Asik reunion doesn't seem like what would put the Bulls over the top.

I wish this was true but LMA and Batum are in their primes and Lillard is ascending. They're 6-2 and the owner hates rebuilding.

Love and LMA just aren't going to happen folks their teams are playing too damn good.

I would agree if they were 2-6 and not 6-2

I have a feeling it is more of a deal like Kyle Lowry got us.
Because, really, how can you say yet who will have a lottery pick anyways?
None of the teams that are actively trying to tank would give us their lottery pick. Not a chance.
So, this would have to be one of those mediocre teams that may or may not make the playoffs, and the pick we get in return would be protected so that it must fall inside the lottery just like the Lowry deal.

I think Bosh is worth it. Bosh can stretch the floor and he can play defense. He would look really good next to Howard, Harden, and Lin.

Why not Milsap? Hawks experimenting with Horford at PF, Milsap to the bench.

6-2 at start of season and the only win they can actual boast about was against San Antonio.

LMA is not happening. Portland is winning. Their owner wants to win now. The sooner everybody accepts that, the better.

But the Lowry lotto pick was for a draft that everyone said was the worst in years. This draft has at least three no doubt franchise guys and has been hyped as the best class in a looong time.

    Huge difference.

Millsap/Bosh/LMA... Though I think Bosh is the best choice still. Bring Bosh here even if we trade Asik + Lin...

Trade him to a team that is guranteed to get a top 5 draft pick next year...lets ride out this season with what we got....would be nice to get out hands on jabbari parker or wiggins next year.

Bring in Bosh. Pluse he expires next season, right? Good trade bait.

If the Rockets end up getting a lottery pick it will most likely be to package for a PF if they don't get their guy in the draft.
