Orlando Howard never had a post game, he was a garbage guy. Getting buckets off O.rebounds, off the PNR and finishing plays, and cleaning up around the rim. I don't think he's passed his prime at all, just that he's being used wrong.

Also, McGrady was in his prime in Houston too.

You want to see a guy not in their prime? Deron Williams. That was a guy that at one time was thought to be Chris Paul's equal. I don't think he's even a top 5 PG anymore.

Bargs is actually a good post defender. He's one of the worst PnR defenders tho.... but Dwight doesn't like PnR, right? *rolls eyes&

I think Mchale is not fair to Bev, if he is a starter, then you are supposed to let him finish the game. His defense is much needed at the end of the game. By the way, you should give him the trust and let him learn to finish games.

But hopefully McFail is finally learning from his mistakes. It took him way too long to admit the Twin Towers experiment wasn't working, but he finally replaced Asik with T-Jones in the starting lineup. And it took 2 consecutive game-tying 3-pointers, but he finally realized you foul intentionally with only a few seconds left in the game when you're up 3, no matter how bad of a free throw shooting team you are.

The only downside is that McFail's stubbornness over the Twin Towers cost us the Laker game and arguably the Clipper game at home as well. And the refusal to foul nearly cost us the Raptor game and did cost us the Philly one. We should be 8-2 right now at the very least, not 6-4. It may not seem like a big deal now, but that stuff can come back and bite you in the butt late in the season.

The only player still left from that team is Parsons, and he just finished his rookie season after being picked in the 2nd round.

Finally McHale got what I have been screaming for. Foul when you are 3 up. Rockets should never ever rely on luck

Man, I thought melo got that 4-point play. that would explain the Rockets season in a nutshell.

Big problem is that he hasn't played as expected. He's too small to guard some of the bigger guards. His 3 point shooting has gone down the toilet. He fouls too much and did you see how many times fat Felton blew by him yesterday?

we still won it with some luck though, our players still lack of even the basic knowledge sometimes ,if you intended to foul , make sure your opponent unable to make shot attempt!! we got the call last night , but honestly it could went against us easily, we should not depend the ref to decide for us.plenty of work McHale need to do with this team.

    bring on the Nuggets

At some point you have to put blame on the players. There are far too many mental errors out there that have nothing to do with McHale. I am happy he finally decided to foul though. I hated his philosophy of not doing it

Bailed out by the refs, and I don't mean the Melo foul, because that was called correctly, however that foul on the Harden 3 point attempt was nothing but a no call. As much as I hate to admit it, Melo is right in saying he doesn't get the same calls as Harden...

Another thing, Rockets need to send tape to the league showing how it's not a foul when Dwight runs someone over in the paint, the defender is never set and calling that takes away Howard's greatest strength, his strength (lol).

We've yet to have a good game, but we're at least headed in the right direction. Tonight was kind of a fluke game though, Bargnani is a huge mismatch for Dwight and our threes weren't falling, I'm positive we're beating the Nuggets tomorrow.

This was a solid road win... It's time to start getting western conference wins now, something tells me tiebreakers are going to be HUGE this year

This is a joke right, or are you purposely trying to incite another battle between Lin and Bev supporters? Mchail is already nice enough to let him start over and play nearly equal minutes to Lin whos putting up over twice the production statistically. Btw bev was in there at the end of the game. What do you want, Bench Lin whose currently our 2nd leading scorer and only play him 24 min a game.

And I'm loving TJones at the 4. Does all the little things to help us win, and he might be the most versatile defender we have.

I haven't read much of the thread. Are there any highlights of him from this game?

Its true though. Our best player on that team was Kyle Lowry or KMart and while they get things done like all-stasr, they dont have the charisma or the potential of Lin - especially after coming off a magical run in New York.

James needs to cut down on his turnovers. He's averaging 4.6
