What exactly is your problem? You have been hating on Dwight left and right lately. Is it because you are having a tough life so you just come over here to take it out on the players?

Can Lin be the 3rd member of the Big 3? Yes, he because he is with Harden and Parsons.

Dwight may not be one of the Big 3 with his FT woes, and lack of post moves.

I'd rather Jeremy be part of a Big Four. Tall, handsome and rich has to get his act together as well. I have very very high expectations for the 4 faces of the franchise.

At the end of the day, I'm not worried about Jeremy's development into a high-quality player. This guy's an improver from season to season, and one with a very good head on his shoulders (that should be the first test of any player coming into the league actually.... do you have a Jeremy Lin mindset or a Royce White mindset....)! And if his ceiling is very high according to LOFers Calvin Murphy, Walt Frazier and Magic Johnson, then he is barely halfway to being a complete product. He'll be fine ultimately.

Now, if only D-Mo can get his head out of his ass and develop too. I still want to see the Rockets become the Detroits Pistons 2.0 with the only true blue Big Five in the league.....

Hrm, interesting comments from Morey talking to the NY Daily Ledger...

I'm with Morey... still untapped potential there...

    Well Morey is a genius.

He's giving confidence to Lin and showing him some love, at the same time increasing his value in case there's potential for a trade.

I like the Lin + Asik + etc for Rondo idea and the celtics might bite if Lin continues to perform like he has.

It is an interesting counterpoint to McHale's comments about Lin playing on his ceiling during the linsanity run. (To be fair, I think McHale was saying that to reduce the pressure Lin was apparently feeling at the time). Either Lin's ceiling is moving or he spends an abnormal amount of time there.

Yes, but only if he's a little more selfish and more confident.

The current Lin is good but he will go through stretches where he's completely disappeared or deferred to Harden and someone else.

I noticed that as well, but if he was capable of taking over the game over long periods, he wouldn't be just an "above average" player, he'd be like MVP-level Derrick Rose or something. I don't think Lin is that good(yet?).

We need to keep things in perspective. He's had a nice 10 games that taken together might put him at the borderline all-star level like Lowry's best year in Houston. As amazing as his two 30+ pt games were, guys like Durant, LBJ, CP3, tend to do that nearly every night. So on a great night Lin, can kinda reach their level. How often can he do that? Well no one knows at this point.

Right now, I'd say he's very similar to 2011-2012 Harden on OKC, assuming he continues to come off the bench for the rest of the year. Hey, that's not bad either, Harden won 6th man that year and played a huge role in the Thunder getting to the finals.

Why are people still all bent out of shape over who is the "big three"? We have no Big 3... We have a Big 2 and sometimes one of our players step us as the third. There is no third star. Lin and Parsons are popular but not good enough by a long shot to be even remotely considered a star.
