Agree - we need to give Bev the benefit of the doubt, his attitude and energy are consistently amazing. Seeing him hustle late in the sixers game was really impressive.

Also, if bev hits 50% from 3 we are not a vastly improved team. I would argue that Lin and Bev are the only things that are working well for us right now, and Mchales substitution pattern for them generally (note the word "generally") make sense.

Incorporating Dwight properly is the only way we are going to see the team we hoped for when we signed the dude.

Well not really. People waited I think 7 games to make the Lin is a joke thread. I haven't seen a single thread come up disparaging Bev. To be honest Bev is going to have a lot of time to sort himself out. I am giving him the benefit of the doubt to get healthy and to also start producing something. He has an entire season to show what he is capable of.

Lin knee excuse was him averaging 12.6 PPG 6.2 Assist 43% FG in the 1st half last year. Beverley injury excuse is 8.7 PPG 2.3 Assist 37% FG. Do you really want to compare the two? If you think Beverley is not completely healthy(most aren't after the 1st game) then just say give him time, but don't compare him to Lin because it's just not a fair comparison.

Yep, it seems a lot of other fans hate us.

But people hated the Lakers last year and the Heat when they put together their team. It just means they are jealous.

What does it matter.. He still dropped 21 points on 7-16 shooting and 6-6 from the free throw line. And that's darn good. No one makes every shot. But you still have to be a threat and try to score especially when other players aren't stepping up offensively. He's doing what Howard is supposed to be doing offensively.

Lin rehurt his elbow when he stole the ball from felton in the first, so thats why his 3s were short

If people still rip Harden for playing like crap with a bruised foot and Lin after his surgery last season, then people can rip on Bev if he plays like crap.

muscles that are injured around the rib cage area usually take a long time to heal and they hurt like hell. if comparisons are to be made, it would be the playoff injury that Lin suffered. am sure Bev is hurting right now and cant do some of the stuff he normally does without discomfort. hope he heals quickly because the mileage on the main guys have been going up and up

Eh, I'll take the win, but I am very concerned with how we are playing. Hopefully we turn it around in the next 10 games or so.

Harden had is usual great game, and Lin is having a fantastic start to the season. I'm very impressed. Parsons played well. Howard had his worst offensive game of the year by far, but still managed to grab 15 boards and get 4 blocks. Great defense by him when he helped off his man, not when he was guarding Bargnani though lol.

Bargnani absolutely went OFF! As did Melo. Both of those guys had their best game of the year by far and we still won. It isn't so bad. We have a lot of room for improvement.

Props to McHale for sitting Lin and playing him limited minutes in the 1st half. Lin came out lethargic as hell and gave Lin just the right amount of leeway. Props to Parsons for showing up and proving that once his shots start falling and he stood turning it over (he's an off the ball sf) that he can be a vital core of our team. Loved him so far in the season. Shots come and go but it's fight that I love. Props to Bev cuz well.. He's Bev. Just love his intangibles and hustle out there. Lin seemed sulky rather than tired today, I would've sat him longer than McHale but he's continuing to show improvement and consistency by scoring 20+ even on bad days. And Harden is boss. Enuff said.
