Can someone tell me why are we not running Harden Howard pick&roll to death as supposed to be? ????

 

How were Harden and Lin getting destroyed. Smith 4/16, Felton 3/9, Shumpert 1/4. That's damn good defense. It was surprisingly Howard (mostly Jones) getting abused by Barg, and Melo was destroying everyone. Good thing he didn't like to pass to open man.

 

Ugly ugly win, but I'm just glad we got it.

 

Why not find out what he was responding to first.
Might have saved you from looking foolish.

Actually the Knicks were held scoreless during at least one sustained stretch in the second half when Howard was in and Carmelo began pwning us inside the second Howard went out b/c the hack-a-dwight.

 

CLUTCH TIMING ON THAT FOUL BY HARDEN. Could not have been anymore perfect.

Howard doesn't like the PnR

 

Howard should work on hi Tim Duncan bank shot from the right side of the basket.

good games by Harden, Lin and Parsons

 

They need to work on that in practice. It seems they can't run pick and roll with Howard without causing turnovers. I guess its still a chemistry issue.

 

That Harden-Lin pick n roll is back in action. Get the PG to switch to Harden and let the beard destroy.

 

They made a good adjustment on the Knick's high PNR. They had Lin switch onto Bargs, which worked. Because Bargs and Felton are too stupid to bring the ball back and try to post up Lin.

 

I think that's one of the last times u will see Bev starting or getting more minutes than Lin only because our offense has been stale and our defense has not improved with him starting. McHale will have to swallow his pride and start Lin to outscore teams until our defense gets it together. Getting the ball to Howard when he is not close to the basket is a wasted possession.

 

I think I would have rather played against Chandler than Bargani or Barbolaga or whatever his name is. He shot threes like Anthony. He couldn't miss. I can't remember seeing a big man shoot like that.

Anyway, this was a harder than it should have been win, but I will take it. Apparently, Asik has demanded a trade and won't play until he gets one. I don't know if can get away with that under his contract, but anyway, I pretty much knew he was toast a few days ago.
