"World's Wildest Police Videos" and other good White Trash Fun

I've become a big fan of RealTV on "The New TNN." I love watching people getting attacked by wild animals or bursting their internal organs after trying a stupid stunt with a skateboard. Only negative aspect is Ahmad Rashaad...

 

COPS has always been a favorite of mine...
The World's Wildest series is pretty darn good too. to me, shows like this are 'reality tv'

the so called reality shows that are on now, survivor, bachelor crap, etc, etc... those are reality 'game shows'

I like to watch cops when they are in Tampa and St. Petersbug FL, so i can see some of the places I lived close to



Sad, I know.

 

My favorite <i>COPS</i> episode is from the early years.

The police were chasing a guy from a drug bust and it took several hours before they cornered him in front of a 6' wooden fence. Probably 7 or more police officers plus a K-9 German Sheperd that his handler had on a harness. The suspect agreed to surrender, then changed his mind and tried to fight his way out with some martial arts action. He was swinging and kicking at everybody and even tried to go off on the German Sheperd. That caused the dog to become <b>highly motivated</b> and they cut away from the action shortly after that. The next scene had the suspect in handcuffs, his clothes in shreds and going to the emergency room for some serious stitches.

 

Thats pretty retarted on the guy's part and I am sorry he got hurt, but damn....what a moron!

My favorite episode (I dont know if it was Cops or WW Chases) is about a motorcycle chase in LA. This one idiot is being chase by the cops on the freeway. He decides to take an exit and proceeds into a residential area. The heavily wooded area makes it hard for the chopper and cops to follow him. Did mention the guy was a showoff and talked on the cell phone the whole time he was being chased. Once in a while he would also slow down on purpose to let the cops catch up!

Well anyways, the chopper has lost sight of him for a while and is just hovering about the residential area. After about 5 mintues a guy is seen in his own backyard and cops pull right outside his house. He was bald and had blue jeans and a white shirt on. And he was on the phone.

Apparently he had come out in the backyard to call his friends and tell them to watch the news. He was bragging about how he was on tv and was being chased.

Dumb ass!

 

I like the police chases, those are crazy and the guys who run are r****ded. The one where the guy in the car literally jumps off the freeway overpass at 80+ is insane.

 

I hate to say it, but my favorite moment on COPS was when several police cruisers were involved in a car chase. The police cars were plowing through residential areas at high speeds, and some cars had broken off in an attempt to cut the runaway driver off at the pass, as it were.

At one point, while we're watching the officers in the front seat from the camera in the backseat as the car speeds along, you hear an officer say, in an almost calm manner, "uh-oh" or words to that effect.

A split second later, the police car has been struck.... by another police car speeding down a cross street. All the officers walked away unhurt, as did the COPS camera crew.

I could just imagine the ribbing these fellas got at the station after all was said and done. Not only did they wreck two police cars, but the whole thing was captured for posterity by the camera crew in the backseat and broadcast to the nation.

It was a valuable lesson in teamwork, as well.

A guy at work has those, and it's kinda boring. I think that's why they keep raising the stakes in the newer ones.

 

A guy in my dorm has them...they are boring.

 

I have noticed that the Discovery Channel shows a lot of these Police car chase shows.
