I almost thought the player broke and I had to sit through loops of Les' laugh.

actually I'd say it isn't..........a good team is one that beats teams that it's suppossed to beat.....I think the first step in becoming a championship caliber team is to beat those "bad" teams.....chances are if you can't beat the bad teams then a lot of wins against better teams are just flukes, because your team might only be able to get up and focus on the better teams in the league

Just want to remind everyone that, again, this is not the first time that the Rockets have gone off to a slower-than-expected start and folks are unhappy with the performance of the players and the coach.

The Rockets were 12-11 at the time Les Alexander made this statement.

This was the team that had the 22 game win streak.

It's time to fire the coach. He can't put players together.

If only others on CF could realize that to build a really good team it takes time... You just can't add another All-Star and expect things to be clicking on all cylinders from the frirst game. I guess that's just today's instant gratification mentality. I'm not worried about the team right now, I know things will come together in its own time. We have a good group of young guys that like each other, have talent, play hard, and want to win.

Rockets have a knack for starting slow. Here's their record thru the first 10 games from the last 3 seasons (excluding current season):

    2010-2011: 3-7
    2011-2012: 3-7
    2012-2013: 4-6

I know it's frustrating but it's gonna be OK, guys. They'll find their groove.

Talking about the results, that team did not pass the first round.

Only good excuses will make Les happy.

Put into context, however, we never had teams during those periods that were supposed to contend. We never had the talent we had now so I would say it's a different situation entirely. Maybe if you go back to 2007-2009.

Defense definitely has to change--the way we defend PnRs and 3s.

But I can see Howard gradually getting comfortable in the post and Lin shooting better and Harden getting healed up.

I can also see McHale expanding the rotation one player at a time. Because our best guys aren't playing cohesively yet, so why throw in another new guy into the fray.

Perimeter and PnR defense have to be the ones to improve drastically.

Once Scola started getting more minutes, they started winning.

    I miss Scola.
