Heat's coach is after vets, so why not trade griffin and cuttino

    for heats 1st round pick?

    Rockets trade:
    eddie griffin
    cuttino mobley

    Heats trade:
    1st round pick

    trade accepted.

if we can get lebron james and eddie jones or carmelo anthony and eddie jones. it might be worth it. but they'd have to throw in a second round pick and next year's first round pick as well, since we have to pay off eddie jones huge salary.

actually, brian grant and the first round lottery pick (lebron, darko, or carmelo) might be good.

you do understand that geting a highschool player IS A PROJECT. Meaning Years. Im sure kobe led the lakers to the playoffs his first couple years. Tmac as well. J O'neal took the blazers all the way. Kwame has done wonders in D.C. Chandler and Curry are dominating the eastern conference playoffs.

this team doesnt need anymore talent. They need to develop the talent they already have and work cohesively together.

I would love to draft Darko Milicic, and would trade Mobley and Griffin for him. Griffin sucks, and Mobley thinks he is a NBA All-Star. Of course Milicic has not proven anything in the NBA, he is a smooth 7 footer who would go real nice playing with Yao.

Throw in Brian Grant and you've got a deal.

Uh, the Heat would laugh their ass off with this trade proposal. Mobley would be a 6th man behind Eddie Jones. Griffin would be a backup behind the "Rasta Monsta".

Neither of those 2 players would make the Heat a contender. Why again would the Heat make this deal?

And the Heat would have to throw in cap filler, iirc. Unless they were currently about 6-7 million under the cap.

Give me a break kidrock, the Heat would make that trade in a second. Are you kidding me? Griffin and Mobley? They'll UNLOAD Grant and/or Jones.

But seriously, did you guys ge a kick out of a Memphis fan telling us about playoffs? LOL!

Hey MemphisX, will you finish ahead of the Rockets next season?

I'm disappointed in you lost_elephant. In your list you forgot the board's favorite player to dog that came straight out of high school, Eddie Griffin. Disappointed.

As far as Lebron goes, he could be a star his rookie season or a complete and total bust.

Do I know which he'll be? Nope.

If we somehow were to miraculously get a hold of him, would I be excited? Yep.

Would I then be surprised if he didn't pan out? Nope.

Eddie Griffin played 1 year of college ball. He went to Seton Hall and led the NCAA in blocked shots.

Everyone says Lebron is very easily a bust. But that's not true. Chances he'll be a bust is very slim, if not because of anything else, but because the league WANTS him to succeed.

There is almost no way Lebron James will be a bust. David Stern will see to it.

When was the last time a player with his athleticism and passing ability was a bust?
