I disagree. I would like to see Jeremy start more plays, but if he is already averaging 4 TO with Harden doing most of the ball handling, it's hard to advocate for him to be the primary playmaker.

It's because he's a young, attacking PG that you see so many turnovers. Nash was a high turnover PG early on. Westbrook was a high turnover PG whose gotten better at handling the ball over the past couple of seasons. Deron Williams was one of the leaders in TOs just a couple of seasons ago during Linsanity. DWill was averaging almost 5 a game then. He'll get better, but people need to give him time.

Is it just me or Lin's shots seems to have a higher arc now?

What a pity the Rockets lose again when Lin had his best game of the year like last year vs the Spurs.

McFail had him guarding James Anderson. Lin was on him like glue but doesn't matter if the opposing player is 4 inches taller and can shoot right over you. McFail should have replaced Beverley with Ronnie Brewer but instead he stuck with the little guy (result of man crush).

ehh even in NY his arc was high....people thought that was a reason for an inconsistent J in the first place.

That said where are the defensive highlights?!?! He's so careless with the ball he reminds me of eric bledsoe!!

Didn't Steve Nash average ~ 3.5 topg during his MVP seasons?

I don't think I ever heard any pundits telling Nash to cut down on his TOs.

Its not so much the fact that he turns the ball over.

Its the fact that he compounds turnovers by stringing off 2 or 3 BAD ones in quick succession. that stuff just flat out kills momentum.

In the clippers game he had like 1 turnover at the half. NEKMINIT 5.

Don't get me wrong. He has improved beyond anything I could've predicted, he's clearly put in alot of work and its paying off bigtime. Everything that people have criticized him about, left hand, shooting, hes improved.

It may seem like nitpicking, but we should have high aspirations for this team, despite the current failings.

He was also averaging quadruple that in assists. But please, don't let logic get in the way of your protectiveness of Lin.

Lin shouldn't have been guarding Anderson period, Lin shouldn't have been guarding Anderson after he was shooting 10 for ****ing 10

I love Lin, but he's got to fix the TOs. He needs to learn when to slow it down a bit, not throw those half court/cross court Randy Moss passes, how to steady the team when defensive intensity picks up. He also needs to finish stronger so even if he doesn't get the foul calls he can get the shot up. I don't see a handles issue, just a maturity issue.

    Damn straight!!

Specifically on defense, it usually comes down from the top, i.e., the Coach!
Look at all the strong defensive teams, they are made by the defensive-minded coaches!!

Easily come to mind are: Spurs with Popovich (often can see him yelling at his players for missing defensive assignments), Heat via Erik Spoelstra (Pat Riley's disciple), Bulls with Tom Thib, the old Celtics with Doc Rivers, the new Clippers with Doc Rivers, the old Rockets with Jeff Van Gundy, the list goes on and on. I can imagine the reason DHoward plays good defense is the training from the other Van Gundy back in Orlando.

Nash had a high assist/to ratio.
