Will Face Assault Charges May 30th

    .c The Associated Press

TORONTO (April 19) -- Gary Payton, Sam Cassell and Jason Caffey of the Milwaukee Bucks all surrendered to Toronto police on Saturday following an investigation into an alleged assault outside a local strip club.

Toronto police said the three players, along with their lawyers, surrendered at 6:30PM ET, hours after the Bucks dropped the opening game of their NBA playoff series at New Jersey.

Payton, 35, is charged with three counts of assault while Cassell, 33, is charged with two counts of assault. Caffey, 29, faces one count of assault.

The three players were all released and are scheduled to appear in a Toronto court May 30.

    Ooooookkaaayy.
Umm my first question is this: The game was in New Jersey.

How is this possible if this happened in Toronto?

I must be missing something here.

Hey, Caffey finally got some recognition.

Way to go Jason! Roll Tide!!!

They actually had to fly to Toronto to surrender. Hope they don't catch SARS ...

    Ahhhhhhh.

Thanks for making it connect. That sucks to have to take a flight right after a game like that.
