The best closer on this team is Aaron Brooks. No winky face.

neither is a good one on one player. Harden may be a little better but all he can do is that step back j. Face it, he's way less athletic than other good SG. We should play team ball, not iso!

Why can't they work as a team and make it less predictable?

Harden went ISO during OT at 1:19 with 3 seconds on the short clock. Lin and Beverley were clearly wide open. Pass it to the hot hands would be the better option.

You forget that the Miami Heat exposed him some 150 games ago. Every good game he has had since then is because of bad scouting by the other team.

Hey, I've been a low level coach for a long time and played organised ball practically my whole youth. And I'm telling you, I guarantee Lin is on the boards of the opposite team as one of the key points, and definitely ahead of Parsons, when scouting the Rockets. His penetration is definitely causing havoc on the other teams and it is straight up basketball 101. Lowry just called him an alpha scorer and I'm sure it's not cuz he's been watching Lin play every game. It was the coaching staff who wanted to limit our run outs usually ran by Lin and his penetration. He's just behind Harden and Howard in getting the other team's attention, imo.

If Harden actually starts passing on the last possession of the game if someone is wide open, other teams won't be able to triple-team him and then he'll actually be able to take and make end-of-game shots.

Funny, Miami did the same thing to Kemba Walker and Derrick Rose, but no body called them scrubs. It takes a lot to be put on Miami's scouting report, Jeremy should be proud he made their scout.

i don't know about lin all the time as a closer just yet and at the same time i am starting to have nauseous flashbacks of the francis era when i see harden iso at the end of games.

Are there people that actually believe deep down inside that Harden is the better clutch performer? I'm not talking about just this game. I'm talking about all of last season and the season before. I've said this before and I'll say it again: When Harden retires, the Harden-era will have the worst close-game record in NBA history.

One time in high school (football) I scored on a screen. The next week I went on the field and heard the opposing coaches yelling to watch the screen. Made me happy :)

ANYWAY, James should be the primary option, then Lin, then Dwight/parsons,

Parsons our first option if we're playing the lakers.

You moron, go ask the Mavs and the Spurs in the playoffs how Harden performs under pressure.

Jeremy has historically been clutch, Miami airball withstanding. But no. Go with whoever has the hot hand. More often than not, it's going to go to Harden, it's just the way it will be when Harden's on the team. But when Lin is playing like that, he can take the shot as well.

Pass to the open man. Stop taking r****ded shots. Thats all. None of this closer bs. Its ideal that you don't take a contested 30 footer....

I didn't vote because it should have included whoever has the open shot and whoever has proven he can hit clutch shots. Those three players imo are Harden, Lin, Garcia, and Parsons. In that order.

    This. Point. Game. Match.

You and I should get jobs as NBA scouts. Are you and I the only people in the world who know that all you need to do is pull that tape from that Heat game?

150 games later and people are still blind... Sometimes I think the NBA is coached by LOFS.
