Lin should start the Knick game. it's like his Taiwan states-side. he'll bring his A game there book it.

 

MVP: Jeremy Lin. He scored 31 points on a night when half the Rockets were either sick or banged up. Lin's jump shot has never looked better, but his fearlessness in the paint was what put Houston up for good late in the second overtime.

That doesn't mean he wasn't annoyed.

 

After tonight's game, Lin bringing his percentages back up: 54.5% from the field, 45.5% from downtown.

 

Where was Novak? Did he play tonight?

 

I say you roll with the flow. This game Harden and Lin found their chemistry again that they had last season. Just start lin and roll with the punches. Chemistry is like a flow, you keep it going.

 

Surprised to see that Casspi is with +16 ratio at the end of the game.
I didnt see the game but did he contribute so well during the game?

 

Novak was on the bench. He didn't play.

 

last 44 games of last season he was shooting 40% from 3pt range so he's been lucky for about 60 games now but sample size is too small for us to think of him as the best 3pt shooter on this team yet.

 

Lin was like, take me with you, please don't leave me here..no! no! no!

 

That's just ridiculous. Although I'd imagine they would come down with more shot attempts each game. He's only attempting around 9 shots per game this year. That's not going to stay constant the rest of the season.

 

oh thanks! even better, more rockets games lol. I don't think McHale would do it. it's fine as long as he gets his minutes thats all that matters.

I think this game should help the Rockets find their identity and overcome whatever chemistry issue they have. Looks like Lin embraced his role as the 6th man and with Jones playing well for his first start, and hopefully Harden being healthy, the team can get rolling again.

 

Someone hire Dwight a FT shooting coach. Or just put in D-Mo or T-Jones in the last 4 minutes of the 4th quarter. At least they can shoot over 50%.

 

I wanna see him jack it up like Curry and Klay for a few games. See the result.

 

Lin had the FLU too and a little right elbow contusion (didn't affect him). This is Lin's flu game.

 

I'm seriously beginning to believe that if we start Lin, we can get an early jump on teams rather than coming out slow.

 

Agree completely. I'm not sure if he's really nearly as bothered by it as his fans but he's seeming to play with something to prove now cause of it... And I like that.

It's the best thing for his career long term as well. If he earned the 6moy with the Rox and they were a deep playoff team I can guarantee you the Rox will have a hard time keeping him as a free agent after next season. If he was to be a 20ppg scorer on a bad team.... Well go look at the contract Monta Ellis got this summer . Reputation, knowing what you are getting, and having a winning pedigree makes a ton of difference.

 

Harden with 10 assists and looked like he gave more effort in finding Lin. Wanna bet this is his "okay if everyone says I'm selfish, freezing out Lin, I'll get 10 assists and pass a lot to him" statement game to get us off his back, and the next game he's going to come back to same old Harden, ISOing all day and freezing out Lin for 3 quarters??
