Martin's 1000x better than Haren, why would Timberpuppies do the trade we would need to throw in 20 extra 4th round picks Kappa
son, I don't think you can co-exist with your parents neither, maybe this is the time for you to get out of the basement, and start working instead of playing with internet all day long.
Honestly, OP, you should've just titled this thread, "Trade Jeremy Lin". I wonder what outsiders think of threads like this, as if Morey thinks there's a choice between Harden and Lin.
True, this team will not go far. Chemistry is the building block to championship. If one must go, it's going to be Jlin. Harden is a good piece to build around.
Long-Short=Chandler Parsons =/= ugly thus meaning that James and Jeremy will get along since their relationship isn't ugly?
Get rid of both of them. They're both Carmelos. It doesn't matter how many assists they get. Try to build around Howard.
Eyeballing the scheduel, we have a decent chance of pulling a 5+ game win streak starting from the next game.
Buddy, that was a response to the post before me about the loss and chemistry being blame on Lin. It is obvious you're trolling for every little sign of lashback. I am just extremely pissed off with Harden's plays lately. You would think he would try to push himself this year. This team can't win championship if he doesn't step up his game on D. Maybe I'm expecting too much from James....I'm starting to lose faith in this team as a championship contender.
Lol at losing faith in a team 7 games into the season. You idiots need to head back to the lin fansite where you belong.
Honestly, I think you're expecting too much of this team in the first year. I think only the most optimistic of fans believed prior to the season that this team would be a serious contender for the championship in their FIRST year together. Even Miami's big 3 took a full year to hit their stride, and their chemistry issues and overlapping play styles weren't nearly as conflicting as the roster we have now, and they had superior talent in a legitimate big 3. That's aside from having the widely acknowledged best player in the NBA. At this point in their development, I'm hoping for a top 4 seed. That's it. And even then, I expect that there will be some rough going this year as they work to figure it out. That said, I think Harden's defense is a legitimate gripe. My issue with Harden is that he has the athleticism to be a decent defender, but his lack of consistent effort and poor fundamental defensive habits do not reflect his raw talent. I don't expect those fundamentals to be fixed overnight. It takes considerable time to develop and internalize those skills. I would like to see more consistent effort on the defensive end (that's a self-motivation and coaching thing) even if it hurts his numbers a bit. I personally think that I'd be okay seeing him score 5 less points per game if he was working hard on defense more consistently. As for the OP's original argument that it's either Harden or Lin, I don't believe that. I do believe it's possible to make it work, the only question is whether the coaching staff is capable of formulating and executing a plan for it to happen. And yes, while from a coaching perspective it would be easier to trade one or the other, from a talent perspective it would not necessarily be any easier to get the pieces you need to replace either of them and still have the resources to address the Power Forward position. If I'm Morey, trading Harden or Lin would be very low on the list versus the need to acquire a legitimate Power Forward and decent back up center should we choose to trade Asik.
Wow, really great response! =) I hope they do better than 4th seed. =) I feel Harden is stubborn and unwilling to change. It would be nice to hear news of him working on his physic and/or on his D... Maybe he's shooting too much bricks lately that its annoying me more than usual. I just hope he start stepping up his game...especially on the D.
The starting to lose faith 7 games into the season when we just added another superstar to the mix and will obviously need time to adjust. That part. Ignorance; yeah. You are pretty clueless
This post is deeply stupid. I really believe many of the Jeremy Beliebers never watched basketball until Lin came along. That's nice, except that they fill the board with so many idiotic posts.
If Morey could trade Lin for anything worth something he would but Harden he would get a star back in return... that should tell Lin homers something. Lin is valued very high in this league because everyone knows he's an off the bench role player at best.
Duhhh...thats common sense that team needs to adjust...thats how ignorant and clueless you are to think that no one else knows that. I like to see harden step up on his game on D. He's been the exact same player on D for the longest I've known. That is what I'm pissed about.
