Let's wait and see: front office doesn't necessarily mean owner. This could be Rick Smith getting frustrated and wanting the blame to land squarely on the coaches. The wrinkle about draft input smells like deflection, given how poorly the latest draft went post-Hopkins.

I doubt "front office" means Bob, if Bob has his way im sure Kubiak is safe. I can hear him now " i cant see another coach getting a team to play this hard and hes had to deal with alot of injury not to mention his own health, hes done a great job".

Rick is quick to put the blame on the coaches when the draft doesn't go well... but doesn't fess up and admit he has very little to do with the draft picks when they do strike some gems.

Does anyone really believe Kubiak WON'T be here next season?

I'll take anyone but Kubiak at this point. Eight years is enough to implement your system and prove yourself. He is starting to regress now and the whole factor of not being able to make in game adjustments is really hurting the team.

Well they have Crick and Jamison. They were probably hoping to get something Montgomery before his release.

For some reason, I think Joe will still be here too.

Throw the kitchen sink and Cowher and try to change his mind.

Gruden's a distant second by comparison, but would still be good (short term).

Step 1 is McNair smelling the coffee and cleaning out the entire front office and coaching staff.....which I just don't think he has the stomach to do.

No he is the best but that's because his only competition is Dom Capers! Derp!

Doesn't mean he gets a lifetime membership!

Rick Smith is horrible at drafting and horrible at cap management, only a fool would keep him around once Gary and ALL (hi Wade, bye Wade) are gone.

Not "necessarily" safe? You go 4-11 including a 7-game losing streak? And you "might not" be safe?

    Lord...
