If you are in town for 20 hours

I say stay at hotel ZaZa and hang out in rice village. Eat anywhere there (def get ice cream at the new cloud 10 creamery) or eat at el tiempo on richmond

We've stayed at the Ballpark Inn next to Minute Maid, it's been bought out by Westin. Nice place in downtown. Alden or The Magnolia are the some of my other favorites when we head down to Houston.

You're right on Saint Genevieve, but the 3-4 times I've been to Belvedere I mostly met very pretty Asians and Latinas (the fair-skinned ones with European blood. Blonde and light brunettes from Colombia, Argentina, and Mexico).

Funny cause my wife and I are spending a night in the city as our first official date after our little one being born. Gonna be staying at Magnolia downtown... looks nice and it has great reviews. Got a great rate on the room too.

When was the last time you touched Houston? It sounds like you haven't been to Houston for awhile. There are lot of hotels around here, it just depends on your location preference.

Breh, if ATX ain't Caucasian or isn't flashing wads, Saleem Fernandez has a strict order or the mix of races he allows. Read up on him. He likes a 80% white 20% mixed with money/looks in his bars. Dude's won't have a chance of entrance even if you pull into the lot in a Lambo. I used to go there when Seneca was the DJ, and the discrimination I witnessed there was jaw dropping.

Zaza is such a unique experience that it's worth trying at least once.

I am so sad we don't have places like this in the suburbs. :(
