I am not even sure if staring Beverley is Mchales decision. He seems to have no control over his stars.

Disagree. Probably he has no control somewhat, but it's still his decision because he thinks Lin and the team can benefit greatly if Lin plays off the bench.

This will probably cost us a lot of comebacks....

Everyone has a bad game. Bev can and has played better, maybe it was too soon. I just think it is a dumb idea to start Beverley. Lin may be underutilized with Harden, but that's on Harden. A good Harden is the game where he scores 23, Lin scores 20, Dwight scored 15 and Parsons scored 29. A bad Harden was the crap from him yesterday, I wasn't at all impressed with his 35 points on 9 of 24 shooting. Bev is great off of the bench for energy, Lin and Bev play a lot together and well together, and Harden still plays a lot with Lin and there effectively is no second unit. There are versions of the first unit with different players sprinkled in from the bench while a starter rests or is in foul trouble. Bev's defense is not a big difference next to Lin's anymore but he does some different things like crash the boards and tip-ins where Lin gets passing lane steals more. Both can have guys blow by them and get stuck out on screens, neither are perfect shut-down defenders and some guys give Lin problems and other guys give Bev problems and some guys give both of them problems.

I think the discussion end here. everything emerged as i expected. no other playmaker, bad offense, harden being abused, bev overhyped, slow start like the first bodcats game fighting uphill battle, harden overused and choked in the end.
oh dont tell me be patient to bev he just recovered from injury. we have a competent starting PG ready anytime and you never be patient to a minimum contract at the cost of the team. he is a good energy guy coming off the bench who can do at most 15 mins pesky defend and hit some 3s and floaters, nothing more, nothing less.

I tend to agree with much of what you said but something you are forgetting is that Bev has hardly ever started. So to say this is an anomaly for him is false because his sample size as a starter is non -existent. bev had a bad game I don't disagree with that. But he needs a lot more time to get settled in as a starter before we deem him hot garbage. People just need to be patient.

Everyone is allowed to have a poor shooting night and everyone would. But when you're 1 for 6, or 7, you know it's not your night. You should just stop shooting and let your teammates shoot.

    Incorrect.

    You never stop shooting.

If you are open or it is a high percentage shot, you take it.

I have the same question as you, but applied to all the guards. We are 2 points ahead and need to ensure there was no second chance. So hindsight question, why McHale didn't put the guys with length out there for the last 3.4 seconds: Asik, Casspi and Smith.

Plays set for him to stabilize his starting position showing he can start and finish the game. Big gamble and fail.

I'm piss off that JLin is not starting...totally ridiculous!! But I'm ok with it because majority of the PB lovers are essentially LOH. They are doing everything to hype PB up...essentially hurting the team that they so call love. I hope those LOH and PB hyper are happy.
I'm tired of this JLin and PB drama....just give the starting role to JLin already and harden for friggin sake play some D!!! With the twin tower idea and JLin to the bench, mchale is losing credibility. I seriously don't even know how we even won those 4 games...total madness in the court...I feel like we need to find a new coaching staff or something...arghhh...

    He is McHale's adopted son.
