Is Jeremy fairly/unfairly being treated as the scapegoat?

This was never going to be a season full of puppies and rainbows. I am glad we are facing adversity this early in this season. It will ultimately make us stronger.

 

Excellent article. I dont blame Beverley at all. He is coming back from injury and he still plays with intensity. Harden and Howard let us down though. Mostly Harden... We might be better off trading Harden for a less headstrong wing.

I saw that too. The way I am thinking is they all know Lin is a bench player and he should not try to drive to the basket to score for himself because that basically offends his teammates' shoot privilege. Lin should be blamed for that! The most important thing is to know your role. Lin is only a bench player and should not shoot more than 5 times a game. Just dribbled the half court and gave the damn ball to Harden like what Beverly did!! Lin moron!!!

 

I think people are probably reading way too much into the interactions they see on the sidelines. I wouldn't take a shouting match to mean the coaches or players think Lin is messing up. If he's dropped from the rotation, that will mean something.

I'm happy with what Lin's doing. I think he's in a role now that he's equal to, a roleplayer. Our success or failure are on the shoulders of Howard and Harden, then McHale and Morey. Nobody should be blaming Lin for anything.

 

If I was Jeremy , I say screw the freaken pregame cap, parson you aint landry fiel. landry field stick for his boy, screw harden b4 he start yelling at anyone look at his freaken own defense. Dwight look at your free throw.

Harden is not a superstar. and will never be 1. i'm gonna call him Har-ren with no D ..until he plays some D then his name will be Harden .

 

I've seen parsons scream at other players this year also.
I've seen other players look at harden in disgust for going ISO.
I've seen Asik and Dwight just blow each other off.
I've seen Garcia and Casspi kinda screaming at each other and they get screamed on by other players.

I thought Mchale knew how to manage personalities?

 

That's quite condescending. And I don't know about you but Lin sure looks like he has much more to offer and looks to improve even more. He may not be the star that a Harden or Howard may be but why do you have to "put him in his place". Jesus~ there's always a caveat when people give Lin a compliment. It's like every compliment ive heard recently always has a caveat.

Both Beverly and Howard screwed up by not switching, and it's Lin's fault? Good grief, he needs to leave this wreck

People saying that Jeremy isn't defending himself is stupid. However, regardless of him defending himself, he will still be the scapegoat. Just because you defend yourself doesn't mean that others will stop yelling at you and blame you for mistakes.

 

All i can say is a lot of you guys need to put on your big boy pants. Lin doesn't strike me as someone who gives up easily and is that fragile. He'll be fine.

Lin needs a better coach. He is an 18/8 player in this league. ISO Harden and a poor coach fail him

 

Sometimes Lin gets unfair criticism, mostly based on unrealistic expectations. He is alternating between starting and coming off the bench, being a scorer and distributor and guarding 1's and 2's. Lin is a professional and should be able to do these things, but it is not easy.

Last night, I am sorry but Jeremy should have fought right through the pick by Nash. Having said that, there is LOTS of blame for the Lakers loss.

Harden slept through the first half. He for some reason did not think it was necessary to guard Blake 3 straight posessions. Howard missed too many free throws. Beverley was just terrible and Parsons has missed shots he shouldn't.

If he plays full time starter given green light to make 100% decisions, he easily averages 20pts.
