I hope one of them is gone. I think either will be a huge loss to the team, but a full season of this will be unbearable.

What do you guys think? After this loss, Lin doesn't close out the 4th quarter, ever, again? If heresay is true and teammates and coaches were yelling at him for this loss, well then...

True, if we're convinced definitely that Bev is that guy and is the best starter, you've got to give him some more games, of course. And I have no doubt that Bev is gonna work his butt off and help our team win. The reason why so many people are upset is that, as happened all Lin's career, he has not been given the same benefit of the doubt or that pass Bev gets or Parsons gets or Harden gets. Lin makes a mistake or has a bad game and that is conclusive evidence that he is a scrub. Others have a bad game, it happens, give him a break. Coming off injury is a hard thing. Lin's the only one that does not get that pass. Lin pulls off a meh season but one where his stats are decent and the uptick in the second half of the season, after recovery, was very good, but what do ALL the announcers (Kerr today, Portland's announcers last game), media, and so many of the posters say here. He's a bench guy. His defense sucks. He's not a good shooter. He can't dribble. If you guys consistently think that Lin can get treated unfairly and that his fans aren't going to stick up for him, you're delusional. Now, where it gets out of line is when people trash talk Bev, Parsons, Harden ad nauseum just to prove their point about Lin, which unknowingly hardens Pharoah's heart, and people are less apt to give Lin any love. Either way, it starts with one side respecting the other and I personally have not posted undeserved criticism in a long long long time. Let's stop posting hate as it may be that our chemistry may be somewhat indicative of our team's chemistry.

I love Bev. Having said that, you never really answered the last question posed to you. If Lin had Bev's game today, do you think that the flak he would've gotten would've been the same. Really. I know that you try to stay balanced (we see you, don't worry about a few idiots who argue with you without reading your posts) but you must see the unfairness toward Lin. And only his fans are supposed to let it go while people dog a "Rockets" player unfairly?

Buddy, you gotta cut that out. If you're gonna post here, have the Rockets best interest in mind. I don't like how Jeremy's getting treated by his own fans either but come on.

I agree with you. People who dog are lowlifes. I mean that. Criticism is fine, especially after a game like tonight. And that goes for Lin as well. But hating on our own player.... You people got to go. (not you, I'm talking to the haters) And I don't mean to argue with you but the people who trash talk Lin far outweigh those who trash talk Bev and I think those people only do that BECAUSE Lin's been treated like that for far too long and they want to make a point. It's a r****ded point which most mature posters can see already even if they won't openly defend LOFs on general principle. Point being, I agree. All the LOFs hating on Bev can go, though I with all the blatant Lin haters would go as well.

HARDEN is the best PG on this team but is leading the league in TOs like last year. If Harden can get his TOs down to say Lin's level, there wouldn't even be a doubt who should be the PG leading this team.

Lin only enters the conversation because he had a good start to the season but its not how you start, its how you finish. Watch for the bearded one to pick up his game!

I have very little interest in trashing Beverley. I have mentioned several times before that I am very happy he is part of the guard rotation.

But.... it CANNOT be emphasized more... he should STRICTLY be the first guard OFF the bench. Having only ONE playmaker on the floor when he starts puts almost the entire offensive creation burden on Harden. And when that happens, Harden will start skiving off his defensive duties. Not even Beverley can guard two players at the same time. Playing 4 on 5 in defense, the team ends up having to dig themselves out of a pretty damn deep hole by the time the first quarter ends.

Beverley is an energizer man off the bench. He is not a game tone-setter from the start.

I hope we could cut down on the childish, accusatory, puritanical and acronym-filled naming-calling, it brings down the quality of CF.

Why do you want him gone? I think tonite would have been a lot worse if he didn't play. Do you really think he's a detriment to the team? Or are you knee-jerking just like the ppl you are accusing?

Well if we win, then all this crap will disappear...

I agree with you, getting rid of one or both of them them just because Dwight Howard is unhappy after 6 games would be unexcusable.

Lin has played very well. I guess I must be blind (or an LOF) because I don't see how this loss can be pinned on him.

As for Bev - he had a bad game and could very well have still been in pain.

If all the gossip is true though, then Lin should be traded. It would seem that the front office, players, and coaches just doesn't want him.

Lin is not a good fit with McHale as head coach because McHale has no idea about guard play and cannot control Haren and Dwight.

Trust me, I'd rather see McHale gone for a good coach like Pop that would stand up to Haren and be a true leader but this aint gonna happen.

As long as McHale is running the team like this, there is no place for Lin and he has to go. The sooner the better.

By that logic, no guard is a good fit under McHale. Lin is a good player... A good player is always a good fit under a competent coach.

You mean we are not getting a coach like Pop or they are no good coaches available? How about Jerry?

J Harden is a great passer but not a good facilitator. Of course he iso when he has the ball most of the time while other players were standing and watching.

No ball movement, how could he pass? Feel bad for him, must be really frustrating

    Again it's coach's fault...
