Dwight:

Last possession?

We had just talked about it. Guys messed up on the play. It happens. We have to come back next game and make sure we have a better start. We didn't finish them off. A lot of little things to work on.

FTs were terrible. Gotta keep working. It was terrible tonight. Gotta get back in the gym. They'll fall.

Every loss hurts. Nobody likes to lose. We gotta come back and get the next one.

Wow, just wow. Just reading through these comments makes me realize how much people WANT to hate Lin. Imagine if Lin had the game that Beverly had tonight, going 1 for 10 and getting 5 fouls. The number of people calling for his head and demanding that he be traded would be off the charts. As it is, he was the one bright spot tonight and yet people still talk smack about him. AND no one mentions a word about the terrible game Beverly had. Ridiculous.

Agreed. Bev is going to do a number on CP3 like Lin couldn't!

Guys BEV should not have switched, his man did not set the screen Howard was supposed to step out on the high side and didn't...as Gasol set the screen.

What a stressful game, need a blunt.

Rockeys execution was very poor down the stretch. Asik/Howard is not working offensively or defensively. We find ourselves down big every game, with elite teams there is no coming back.

We really need Parsons to start hitting those catch and shoot threes again. The thing with Harden is, there are times where he can dribble up the clock and then get a bucket.

Not to hate on Bev because he seems to be a great guy who has a good relationship with Lin, but I was on these boards last season when Bev would put up ZERO points in a game and people would still ride his ****.

We are not a contender until we develop a great team defense where everyone plays there men without gambling . Closeout better on the 3pt shooters and defend the on ball players better. Right now our 3pt defense is probably the worst in the league. No one plays help defense or switches, we see teams shooting record shooting 3pt % night in night out against us.

Beverly need to swtich onto Gasol. Lin was being bear hugged by Nash. That was on bev. he was just standing out there doing nothing. And parsons wasn't even pressuring the guy inbounding the ball LMAO

I'm glad you're not the Rockets GM or else you'll have entire team of scrubs like Bev.

Yeah it is whatever.

This was a playoff game for them, good for them. We'll get our **** fixed and still be a top seed in the west.

This is the first game we've dropped to a lesser team.

I seriously think I just got an ulcer from this game.
Honestly Lakers deserved that win.

1. Enough of the TT lineup, its seriously garbage. [IMG]
2. Team again came out lethargic, and again down by 20. They ain't going nowhere when the only time they show any pride is in the 2nd half. [IMG]
3. Parsons went FULL potato and inbounded the ball to Dwight, way to go genius. [IMG]
4.

James Harden just lit into Jeremy Lin for his last shot. Beverly and McHale had to signal to him to calm down.
— Yannis Koutroupis (@YannisHW) November 8, 2013

Really now, STFU James. [IMG]
Until you stop letting opponents treat you like a used condom, really, stfu.

This. I hope he doesnt consider that "leadership". Leaders own up their own mistakes and certainly dont go off on others when they make a mistake.

That's ok! Rockets will surely bounce back next game ... oh wait, it's the Clippers [IMG]

ya bro, i have 45 minutes till im out of work.. some mary jane will help me forget the following:

1) howard's disgusting FT shooting (i was not expecting 5-16 bad)
2) harden's disgusting defensive effort
3) parsons boneheaded mistakes
4) mchale's lack of coaching ability

wowow, i have nothing bad to say about lin for once... i guess that makes me kind of happy

McHale should be embarrassed. Losing to a Pringles-led Lakers, who dropped 64 on us in the 1st half. The word defense is not in the dictionary of Kevin McHale.

so... it was Lin's fault because he was being bear-hugged by Nash and couldn't fight out of it in time?

Yes sir, Lin bad. Lin no eat rice next time, only eat protein to build muscle, so next time old man nash no foul him.
