I am certainly dissatisfied with the labor participation rate, but that's what happens when the economy goes south, people decide to stay home with the kids, go back to school, or engage in other pursuits when the only jobs available to them would keep them in poverty. There have been plenty of solutions proposed over the last few years, only to be shot down by the GOP members of Congress, who deserve much of the blame attributable to the government.
