No one is "supposed" to finish an NBA game. The coach decides what team is playing well to close it out.

There wasn't a void. Just Rockets fans talking about the Rockets. A lot of them don't post much anymore because their valuable insight gets drowned among the Lin discussion.

Anyway, like I said, this will probably get buried instantly with Lin talk, but WOW, what a game! Really liked what I saw out there tonight. For the fist time all season, the Rockets make a conscious effort to get the ball to Dwight not only in the post, but on the move as well. And he delivered with a spectacular game. Harden actually tried (usually) on the defensive end tonight, even blocked a couple of jumpers! And of course offensively he was a monster.

I still don't really think the TT work. Again, as per usual, we dug ourselves in a hole to start the game. I'd rather see Casspi start at this point. Parsons is still struggling mightily, I hope he finds that shot soon. He is still slashing somewhat effectively though and running, which is good.

What a nice surprise for Beverly to play tonight! His intensity is so valuable and is contagious. He made some HUGE shots in the 4th quarter as well. He will probably be back in the starting lineup in the next couple of games I'd imagine.

Lin played okay, but he's been playing so well this year so far that this seemed like a bad game, even though it wasn't. I bet he's gonna put up a lot of points leading the second unit, if McHale indeed chooses again to start Bev.

We really struggled from the 3 point line, which makes this win even more impressive. We just blew out a potential playoff team on their home floor shooting 27% from 3-point range. I can live with the 20 turnovers, we are still one of the youngest teams in the league and we play at a fast pace so our turnover numbers will be inflated regardless.

Dwight really looked good out there. His head was at rim level on that alley-oop from Lin. He's looking impressive. Can't wait for Thursday night!

Guys...if you have a real good team, no starters should be finishing any games and that's a fact.

Well anything is better than the current cluster****.

I would probably put in like "Basuke-senshuu to****e Lin ha ichiban da to omou."
Ichiban is a adverbial noun and it is awkward to put "no" after it.

Can't put Kanji since I'm on a public computer.

i think mchale likes lin and hes treating him as a starter as well as bev, lin guarded lillard all night, one of the best pgs in the nba..maybe top10, he was tired af lol and picked up 4 fouls early in the 4th quarter thats why mchale sat him down, he would have played longer if he didnt pick up that 4th foul and mchale took him out at the end to give the starters some rest lin wasnt an exception. im a LOF and im happy with the way mchales been treating him

Well, hypocrite is not directly synonymous with douche bag. But you can't complain about this alleged Asian fetish and then call Casspi a Jewish Lebron. That would be an example of a ....., well, hypocrite. How would you feel if I called Lin the Taiwanese Terminator? Yeah, methinks you'd cry racism about that one. Like I said, hippocrit.

I agree that the Lin talk gets out of hand but so does the Lin bashing. I'm not saying you're bashing but.

Lin without a doubt played better than Bev on both ends of the court and you make a post that says how great Bev was and that Lin played ok but it seemed like a bad game.

That's not how the game played out at all. It makes me wonder if people can see the game as well on their computer screens, because I have no idea as to how you could come up with the post that you posted about Bev and Lin.

There was nothing wrong with the decision Mchale made to pull Lin in the 4th quarter, people are to touchy. He came back in the game anyway after he had rested.

No, your premise is asinine. Plenty of starters, point guards included, do not finish the game. I'll tell you what is pathetic- the legion of Jeremy Lin fans who turn a great road win by the Houston Rockets into yet another excuse to whine. When Sam F-ing Cassell finished the games over Kenny Smith, the Rockets were winning championships. If you would have complained about that, you would have needed your head checked. Unlike you, I root for the name on the front of the jersey.

    Good game.

Howard and Harden were on fire.

Lin had a good game and good defense.

    Good to see Beverley back.

    Parsons, what gives?

A lot to work on but the seeds are there.

Try to be fair. Your statement below also puts a bad taste in the mouth for a road win. Again, Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood :)

I agree with you that they shouldn't be crying about Lin going to the bench tonight to rest.

As far as Sam and Kenny go, Sam was by far the better pg so he should have finished games.

I wouldn't say "without a doubt." I never even said Bev played better. Lin is a better player than Bev. A mediocre game by Lin is as good as a great game by Bev. You misunderstood what I was saying.

I was more impressed with Bev tonight because he hit some huge shots in the 4th quarter and he came back from injury about a week early. Lin had 12/2/4 and Bev had 12/4/1 so none of them clearly played better than the other.
