This season...we lost to teams like the Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Clippers, Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat, New York Knicks (kinda bad), and maybe tonight Denver Nuggets. We also lost to Memphis and Golden State.

Next season...I think the Rocket will be more mature and understand that they have to win the games vs. the bottom teams and try their best.

If they do that, I think they can win at least 50 games next season.

Also...continue to play well at home and try to win on the road.

    Go Rockets!!!

If the coaches and players can work on the fast break and work on trying to push the ball up the court as quick as possible...they could be very good.

Posey is the main finisher. If he can improve his shooting, he would be perfect for us. I think he can improve his shooting.

Moochie just has to go somehow. There's no way he can improve.

Francis just has to rest...and learn more and just get ready.

The rest of the team just has to learn how to play with each other and how to use each others' strengths.

Everybody on the team should work on their perimeter offense.

The team needs to play good helping defense.

Yao just needs to rest and get stronger.

Coaches have a lot of work to do.

They should take a one month vacation first.

This couldn't find a home in one of the other 40,000 "next year" threads?

It is obvious why we did not make the playoff because all your above "have to" are right. God bless us for the next season.

Weren't we hoping that the Rockets learned what it takes to beat scrubbish teams, how to play together, and how to pull out tight wins this season? It seems like that's all we were talking about last offseason, and it was just the same , low basketball IQ, fundamental-less team we've seen on the court for a while now. Hopefully those ideas start to sink in this offseason, but nothing gives me the confidence that it will.
