When the PG is allowed to plant himself with no pressure it allows the players around him to run their pieces.

Lin did a good job on CP3 in the first quarter. The reason CP3 got so many assists was that other people were wide open.

In the second quarter, CP3 used his veteran wiles and flopping to draw calls on Lin and went to the line often. Lin had his 4th foul before the 2nd quarter ended, which caused him to play more tentatively afterwards.

    1. You can't body up a PG and pressure him all game.

    2. You especially don't want to do that against a guard like Chris Paul who will blow by you if you play too tight. Plus he flops and you will be in foul trouble quickly.

Long story short, you aren't going to stop a PG, especially a PG of Chris Paul's caliber from passing to his open teammates.

Would have been a perfect game for Ronnie Brewer.
