it's been 10 years since the calvin thing went down. bring him back already! having calvin makes cornbread more efficient. Cornbread iso is still good, but calvin running the entertainment part makes it easier for everyone. I've been enjoying these guys since 1992, as in watching not enjoying like we enjoy chandler.
I wonder if Bill Worrell's "jersey" will ever be retired by the Rockets. As for the Clippers' announcers bias... I saw the game on league pass and was puzzled why the announcers were so pro-Clippers because the HUD showed "NBA TV". I thought NBA TV announcers were supposed to be neutral... in conclusion, the NBA TV graphics were probably slapped onto LA's local feed.

I'm an LA resident and it sucks to listen to those announcers. Usually they aren't totally biased but I felt like last night they were just blatantly disregarding whatever the Rockets did. The worst incident for me was when Blake pushed off Brooks on the fastbreak for a dunk and got called for the offensive foul. The announcers went crazy and acted like they didn't see Blake do anything!!!! Also they praised DeAndre when he broke his streak of 6 FTs made in a row but called Asik's 2 made FT's a fluke LOL

I don't see what Blake did wrong, ridiculous" *shows replay of dunk after foul* "wow that was beautiful" But seriously though, why are they going to market it as NBA TV and only show Clippers highlights the whole game... smh Anyway, back to Bill. I like the guy. Plus, it seems that whenever a commentator is replaced, it's with someone worse (seems to be the same trend with coaches too - FIRE GUNDY!! FIRE ADELMAN!! FIRE McHALE!! BRING BACK GUNDY!!) I mean, do we really want someone like Chen Ho to take Bill's place? Bill is a legend.
My nostalgia recalls me being annoyed with Bill and Calvin. Please move him to pregame and postgame shows only.
This thread is so annoying. Bill is great, I don't like or agree with what his says sometimes but I do like him and want him to stay. I think he is older and misses a few things sometimes but that's ok.
The only thing i don't like about Bill is whenever he mentions a player picked in the 1st round, he always says "he was a #1 pick in the draft" and he is never talking about the actual #1 pick in the draft.
I think what happened last night was that Bullard was calling the no-call on Lin's drive to the basket against Jordan a good no-call because Jordan was jumping straight up. Bullard gave credit to the refs for not calling a foul there, while, Bill, immediately continued to say that Lin got fouled, and should have gone to the line. Then there was silence for, like 5-6 seconds after that.
Bill Worrell is the BEST announcer in the League! I agree....Worrell is the very best announcer in the league. I have heard all of them at one time or another and none come close to being as knowledgeable or as fair as Worrell. Some of them are simply horrible....know nothing about other teams players and can't even pronounce their names. I hate it when I have to watch a game and listen to the other team's announcers!
