Just trying to gauge interest in this game... Would anybody be interested in forming a CC.Net Player Association? I was thinking like some sort of a smuggler's union or something. Let me know in this thread. There is still about a month and a half till the game comes out. For those who don't know, Galaxies is a new online RPG game in the mold of Everquest, set in the Star Wars universe somewhere between A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back. http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com
This game looks awfully bad at this point. No ships. No space travel until future expansions. Lots of limitations on Jedi.
What ever happened to City of Heroes? I'm not really into these online RPGs, since my computer doesn't have a decent graphics card, but if I get a new puter this summer, that will be one of the games I'll look forward to.
But there will be ships soon after the game comes out. And of course there have to be severe limitations on Jedi. Otherwise, everybody would want to be and would be Jedi. How not-fun would that be?
I'm definitely interested, and my wife is crying everyday that the game isn't out. She's absolutely sold on this game, and driving me crazy about it.
I can't give money to George Lucas anymore. I'll watch the third star wars movie and that is it. Currently playing Shadowbane a couple of hours a week and it's pretty fun so far.
I can't wait for Knights of the Old Republic to come out. It looks awesome. Also the new Jedi Knight game, can't think of the name off the top of my head at the moment.
