Where is Casspi in terms of his health at the moment? Will he play tonight? Any news on that? That ankle didn't look too serious though. There's also another interesting thing I found, Casspi's games played in each of his NBA season: 09/10 77 games 10/11 71 games 11/12 65 games 12/13 43 games It looked like a quite a worrisome stat. Are those missed games simply DNPs or is his body slowly breaking down? I think with Casspi on the floor we may not have had such difficult time with the Jazz, as Omri always seems like a hustle & energy guy, which we lacked in Utah from our starting 5. Thoughts? Thanks.
yes he plays tonight. why not just read the game thread instead of making a new thread? As to the other part; he rode the bench in Cleveland. His coach didn't respect his game.
I'm not going to bother to look too closely into his career stats, but be assured that there were PLENTY of DNP's in those seasons, and in Cleveland especially. I wouldn't be overly worried.
That's great to know, thanks! There are like 20+ pages on the game thread already, a bit too much to go through, and no guarantees if I'll find the info I'm looking for, but thanks anyway. We'll need Casspi today! He always seems to have huge games against the Clips. <object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="//www.youtube.com/v/5ezRC8LGsDc?version=3&hl=lt_LT"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="//www.youtube.com/v/5ezRC8LGsDc?version=3&hl=lt_LT" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object> <object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="//www.youtube.com/v/Nwja6HbUFWs?hl=lt_LT&version=3"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="//www.youtube.com/v/Nwja6HbUFWs?hl=lt_LT&version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

Interesting stat, of all the players who average >20min/game, Casspi has the 13th highest average speed at 4.5mph Harden is dead last at 3.6mph
His NBA injury history: 2013/11/02 Sprained left ankle, day-to-day. 2013/03/18 Missed 12 games (appendectomy). 2012/12/21 Missed 5 games (gastroenteritis). 2011/03/07 Missed 1 game (back injury). 2010/04/03 Missed 2 games (viral infection). 2009/11/08 Missed 1 game (sprained left ankle). Nothing to be alarmed about.
Jason Friedman's and Jonathan Feigen's twitter pages are always good places to do a quick check for injury updates.
The average speed stat is pretty meaningless. I guess it gives you some idea who is hustling and who's mostly standing around but that is also somewhat predicated on the opposing team and your own offensive sets. I wish they'd share highest top speed.
