Oh come on! I'd take Lin over AB, but AB has not been as bad as everyone seems to think. For a 3rd string PG he's done a good job with his minutes, especially in holding us steady while the starters take a break. I even like to see him spend a little more time with Dwight. Let's not forget he was Yao's PG.

I hope Pb has a speedy recovery so he can take his starting position back earlier.

I think the Jazz game demonstrated that Lin might have the potential to develop a Multiple Personality Disorder if he keeps starting. Why?

I think at the beginning of the game, Lin was trying to play for PB, and he mimicked PB and was very successful so as to shut down Tingsley. However, for the second half, Lin's own identity came back, and that is why he attacked, and attacked. This is bad for him and the team.

TOTALLY AGREE. You should be sitting between McHale and Sampson on the banch. And if Brooks goes down, then start Canaan.

Personally, I think Lin would absolutely KILL IT in the D-league. He's the best point guard in the organization but damn it - it's not about that. It's about how well his game would mesh with the other players on the court.

D-league 6th man is where he would shine most. Lin and Harden don't mesh and they hate each other. I have advanced metrics that prove they dislike each other. Lin and whoever the hell the current Viper back up is don't mesh (Canaan is going to take Lin's place on the Rockets roster after all). Lin and the current Viper 3rd stringer's (I think it's Matt Maloney's neighbor's stepson) skills and talents don't overlap AT ALL and they would help the Vipers to a title (from off the bench of course).

12 of minutes of D-league minutes a game and nothing more. Only then can we ensure ourselves that Lin is not taking the ball out of anyone else's hands or shooting the ball when someone else might want to. I have all these advanced statistics to prove this to be so. Will post them if you want. That or just cut him.

It's not about anyone one player - but about what's best for the team. Please don't disagree with me just because you are a fanboy.

And if AB can't go, then just start the damn game with 4 guys. 4 vs 5 when Harden is on the court. 5 vs 5 when Harden is resting.

I know some shot-sighted idiots here are going to point out the short-term tactical disadvantage of playing an NBA game with only 4 guys. The team with 5 guys would have a numerical superiority and I understand that. But 2 things :

1. heart, team spirit, and fit >>>>> numerical advantage
2. long-term >>>>> short-term

If Asik and Howard don't start shaping up, then we 3 vs 5. Whatever it takes. Who care about the regular season. WE ARE CONTENDERS NOW!
