I posted this in the Jazz thread, since the Clippers thread wasn't open yet.

might be???? stopping him or slowing down him is to double or triple team him. force him to give up the ball early. neither lin nor bev can do it by themselves. Or we may be lucky, cp3 somehow were not in his game. somehow Monday were not his day. i have no problem to pray for it but good luck.

I think we can win. Going to either need a big game from Harden or a bad game from CP3.

If Bev was playing/starting, he would probably get two quick fouls vs. CP3 because of his aggressiveness and CP3's other "ability." Raise hands if all agree?

    Rockets 117
    Clippers 114

James Harden hits a buzzer beating three to seal the deal.

    Lets Go Rockets!!!!!!!!

Chris Paul is unstoppable but his biggest weakness is his defense (although he has very fast hands).

You can see here that he's got troubles to fight over the screen. Lin was literally free after an Asik screen.

Even Isaiah Thomas scored 29 points against the Clippers.

Therefore I think Lin will get many opportunities to score. I hope that he stays aggressive.

to beat the clips, you need to stop CP3

the best way to do that, you have to make him play defense. u need to attack him

use lin to post him up, iso against him, make him play d

    tough to say.

the first game, i didn't see bev used his ball hawking defense in limited 10 min play. i am not sure why he stopped to do it in the first regular season game he was a starter.

The best way to stop CP3 is to make him work on the defensive end. Lin and Brooks will have to attack, attack and attack some more.

I agree, and I never said any one person could do it alone. I simply don't see what's wrong with saying his presence will be missed, that's all.

    Anyway -

Agreed that his defense suffers at the hands of his offensive capabilities. He damn near lifted them to that win over GS the other night on his own, but he also let Steph Curry go off on a ridiculous level. If nothing else, we can make it rain.

Yup. I now declare that we are winning this game. No losing allowed when we're the only thing to watch.

Because you usually can't do this the whole game if you are human. ;) Of course, Beverly tries to save some energy when he is a starter. I think he wants to play major minutes.
