Congratulations Terence, despite your limited PT, keep up the good overall game, despite being the 3rd best FG shooter on the Rockets. You are a steal at .5M getting 19 points in 18 minutes. Unload some of those other high salaries, the forwards at .407 to .436%. I'll take a team player anyday, ie old Celtics.

I had a lot of fun cheering for Morris last night. It also made me pretty upset we didn't give him much playing time this season. Isn't he a free agent at the end of the season? It will be interesting to see what happens with our small forwards in the summer.

He has been playing great all year...very consistent. I have been calling for him to get more playing time.

I remember a thread called TMO over MoT.....I don't know why coaches give some players time while others rot on the bench.

TMo deserved a chance as a swing 3 and 4, he plays hard, is a decent shooter, knows his role......can we please keep him?

Yea I feel pretty safe when Terrence is on the floor.

For Example: Seeing Hawkins with only the defensive skills is a little bit nerve wrecking knowing he is poor on the offense at times, but Terrence has nice defense in the time that he puts in and has such a soft shot! I saw his shot last night and it was like water dropping. He has a good shot for a big guy. Terrence seems like he has matured into a great team player and knows more of the NBA game then an average sophomore.

He is a nice end of the rotation piece. He appears to be a good guy, a good teammate.

I hope he comes back. I won't be sleepless if he does not.

    Heck,

I would rather have had TMO playing then EG, at least Tmo can play defense and shoot the ball.

    EG ...well, he sucks.

T-Rock is definitely one of my favorite players, and by far one of the two nicest (the other being Glen). Last night after the game he stopped and gave me his shoes. He autographed them and put "Best Wishes" on them. Now I'm just praying we keep him.

somtimes it really does seem like Griffin is the worst of our options at the 4. Mo, TMo, Cato and Kenny are all better. I wouldn't call on TMo at the 4 in more than a pinch, but I would have benched Griffin long time ago. The guy needs to find a basketball personality and work hard for his minutes like KT, Cato, and Terrence have to. What the hell makes Eddie so schpecial. He being an NBA starter is a farce. That's what lottery teams do ... start their lottery picks too early. Playoff teams don't do that.

Playing Eddie Griffin undeserved minutes is a huge reason why we are not in the playoffs. And he hasn't learned a damn thing with those minutes, other than how to second guess himself and back down to bigger PFs.

    ok, venting over.

At the 3, Posey is better than TMo, and what can you say about Rice. You either hate him, or you play him.

    HP,

I agree with all of what you just said. I am really disappointed that we did not trade EG for R. Lewis in the off season.

We would have kept KT, and our team would be in the playoffs, no doubt.

At best our front office has been 50/50 on its decisions, the best thing I think we can say about them is that they are lucky.

    Hakeem, Ralph, Yao.

    :)

    Good for T-Mo!

From the limited minutes I have seen from T-Mo this season he has done well.
Ya know a lot of us talk about this team underachieving and players NOT improving from last season. T-Mo might be the Rockets MOST improved players from last year. He looks more comfortable with the ball and he is shooting A LOT better. He still does not have good 3pt range but his midrange game and overall game seem to have really improved.

T-Mo really should have gotten more minutes this year. I am sure the Rockets will sign him to a minimal contract in the offseason. He is a nice 3/4 versitle player that this team could use.

Posey, Rice, T-Mo, Nachbar. That is a crowed 3 spot. We need to give Posey more minutes at the 2 spot and reduce Rice's minutes in favor of T-Mo and Nachbar. I think with the improved play of Morris the level of urgency to re-sign Posey is not as high as it might have been had we not had Morris or Hawkins for that matter.

    Thanks for the link FredTerp!!

Sometimes it seems as though its just me and you who always have TMo's back. Its fun to see more and more fans realize his value to the team. Keeping Morris here is an important factor in the off-season.

TMO,to me, always looked kind of lost on offense, BUT he was able to almost always swish a shot from outside, or take it in and hit a closer shot. TMO was awesome this year. TOo bad we never saw much of him.

He looks to have really bulked up. Anyone notice? Looks a lot bigger and stronger than Griffin.

What you just said in essence is that our are just collecting paychecks. Someone is definitely sleeping on duty in as much as Eddy has struggled and TMo under used this season, the biggest blame of not making this year's playoffs rests on the Shoulder of the coaches (especially RudyT). They failed to make the necessary changes and adjustments. They did not do much coach as far as I am concerned - just shepherding a mixture of goats and sheep.

Espirit, thanks for the shoe story. Terence is a pretty nice fellow, always has time for people. My son played a lot of ball with him back in Frederick, Md on the Thomas Johnson HS basketball team.

I will repeat this Steve Francis story. My daughter approached Steve Francis at the Dave & Busters in Rockville, Md where Francis was playing pool during this past summer. She wanted to introduce her boyfriend to Steve Francis. He subsequently asked the two if they wanted to play pool in which they played several games. I guess it's the select few players that give other impressions that we remember, ie the negative stories. FREDTERP

It's hard to argue with any of this. I imagine that the idea was that with the minutes Griffin would get consistancy and confidence. After half a season, it was clear that he wasn't progressing.. certainly not enough to even consider as a starter. You have to wonder what was going on in Rudy's mind. It's one of those things that's hard to fathom.

Terence deserves to come back, imo. He improved enough to warrant a further look next season.
