No kidding... lol. A side note: I've noticed so many Garcias in this article about the RGV Vipers. I thought they were somehow related but realized they weren't. Spoiler
It's hard not to love him given he's shooting 42% from long range in a Rockets uni. I also have incredible respect for the decision he made this summer. He could have definitely scored $3-4 million a year to go play for a crappy team, but he had found a place he was very obviously enjoying playing basketball so he cut us a loyalty bargain even though his "loyalty" came from just a 3 month stint. Many have said it on Twitter and probably on here, but it feels like a surprise when he MISSES a three lately.
Yeah, I liked the guy since his Sactown days. I hope he can stay consistent from deep. If Cisco can improve so much after leaving a bad organization as the Maloof-run Kings, I have some hope that Casspi will show some good stuff as well.
I actually am from "the valley" where the RGV Vipers play, and yes a lot of Garcia's around here. But he is Dominican, people around here are of Mexican discent.
Garcia has been amazing ever since the playoffs last year. Just want to express my appreciation for what he's been doing for us.
For at least this season, I wish Morey can find us another Garcia. Just someone who plays solid defense and find his way into open spot up positions. Our wing depth is sorely missing right now.
I absolutely love this guy. He is the kind of role player that helps make a team a contender. He comes up big at the right times.
Ever since we lost Hayes and Battier, we have been in search for a glue guy. Garcia is that guy for us now. It's not just the on court performance. You can tell his personality is just there to get his teammates going. He's the Mr. Intangible.
THIS. I still remember the thread right after the Sac trade when someone mentioned that Garcia was probably the most important part of the trade for that season. Boy were they right aND THEN SOME.
